Fearless Friday, Letting Loose

It’s been way too long since I have painted with acrylics so I decided to let loose with a fast and furious abstract

I painted the canvas with black gesso

I choose a few colors and put them on a piece of palette paper

With a large wide palette knife I began to add color areas

Drips with fluid acrylic

More patches of color, drizzles and drips, were added, quickly and without much thought

Simply letting loose

And getting carried away with the freedom of it

I used Golden acrylics for the drips, plus Target brand Devine Color

I used heavy body acrylic for the areas applied with a palette knife

My palette paper after I finished

Easy clean up, fold and toss

“Letting Loose”  18″ x 18″ acrylic on 1 1/2″ wrapped canvas

Sometimes you just have to let go and Be Fearless!
