Tablescapes, Breakfast with Santa

Christmas being only about 2 weeks away, I decided it was time for a little checking with Santa to see if wishes were going to come true around here this season. I thought a nice breakfast might put him in a CHEERY  mood, so I figured the best way to get items checked off the list was through his stomach.

I poured him a hot cup of java, Christmas Blend of course, and escorted him to the table

Ho Ho Ho

this “centerpiece Santa” arrived on his Flexible Flyer trusty sled {which you can barely see}, LOADED WITH PRESENTS!  See how TIRED his reindeer is?

Wow, this looks good, what are we having?

Just have a seat and relax

Want some more coffee? Some juice or water?

I’m going to sit over here

I’ve got some elves and reindeer nearby to help us finalize the Christmas plans

I think we’re all set…DSC_4858

I left some extra chairs at the table just in case some of the “bigger” elves want to join us…

What a cute and festive table! Love the exhausted reindeer. And what could be any better than to be surrounded by Super Boy’s toys? Those days will be over too quickly!

  2. Very cute table! I even love the tree and peppermint utensils. I do have to ask though – where did you get the great train? My son would die to have one like that…Hahaha!

    • The train is LGB brand and we’ve had it since our kids were little, but I know they still make it because we can buy track and cars etc for it at a local old fashioned toy store. If you goggle it I’m sure you’ll find a source. It’s expensive but we have had so much fun with it with our kids and now our grandchildren, a wonderful investment. Thanks for your visit and the sweet comments.

      • Thanks for the info. I just left Hobby Lobby and my son and I saw one there. It’s out of the budget for Christmas this year but I think I’ll start squirreling away money so he can have it for his birthday in June.

  3. This is so crazy cute!!!!!!!!! I love the pooped out reindeer! Very creative! Your spatulas are darling! I have never seen anything like those! I’m glad “Super Boy” is enjoying his toys! Trains are always a favorite!

    • Thanks Alycia, I got the spatulas at Pier 1 a year or so ago. Do you ever buy stuff for yourself when you’re Christmas shopping? Yeah, it was one of those, “I better get these, they would make a great gift for someone.” uh huh, like me!!

So much fun and whimsical! Couldn’t help but notice your Elves. Do you mind sharing their source with me as I have a friend who has been searching for some that have some ‘real’ character …. and yours do. ☺ (Thank you!)

Also, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! -Brenda-

    • Hi Brenda, the elves were made by Penny McAllister who unfortunately passed away. You can tell your friend to google her, sometimes you can find her things for resale. I do treasure them, they have so much personality! Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year to you too!

So colorful and whimsical! Love it all, especially those precious mugs…

  6. Hi, This couldn’t be more charming. Love the polka dots! Your dishes and Santa and Reindeer centerpiece is perfectly charming. You have thought of everything. Love it!

Very cute and fun! Your Santa mugs are adorable! I read your reply to Alycia…so good to hear from her. I’m guilty of the same thing at Christmas. No wonder the credit card bills are so high in January! It’ll be our little secret, OK? I’m wondering if your breakfast worked for getting what’s on your list this year. If so, maybe I should try it! Lol!

    • Thanks Kim, this is actually an old post from 2012, so Alycia’s comment is not current. I haven’t heard from her in a long time, and constantly worry and think of her…As for Santa, a full belly works wonders for his Christmas shopping 🙂 >

  8. I need those adorable holiday spatulas! Your breakfast tablescape is so pretty and how fun to have a Christmas train circling around the table.
