Tablescapes, Leprechaun Village, a Sip & a Nosh

I thought I’d take you to Ireland today for a bit of a sip and a nosh in an Irish village.  An Irish Leprechaun Village…

Leprechauns live here in little stone cottages with window boxes and cabbage trees.  Their yards are moss and clover.

They are off looking for pots of gold right now so it’s safe to have a peek around…

There are green and gold coins scattered all over, those messy Leprechauns! Gold must be easy for them to find!

Giant cabbage trees grow helter skelter around the village.

You must be getting thirsty by now, on this bright sunny day…

How about some Baileys Irish Creme on the rocks,

on the COFFEE rocks, that is!

This is such a delightful treat, coffee, dessert and a cocktail all rolled into one!

Oh look, they have left us a giant 4 leaf clover!

This shamrock is filled with savory Cheddar and chives, very lucky for us indeed!

The leprechauns sure know how to live!

Have you ever noticed how shamrock leaves look sorta like hearts?

Well, I thought so too!

I had a stash of these cheesy hearts tucked away in the freezer that I made in February…

A few more chives for the top and stem, and Voila, a perfect little plate of savory bites for St. Patrick’s Day!

Of course Bailey’s Irish Creme is totally awesome over regular ice cubes, but with a little leftover coffee you can really make it tasty!  Do you even have an ice cube tray?  I was trying to improvise when I remembered….I DID have an ice cube tray!

I had some in the closet holding earrings…

Coffee ice cubes have so many possibilities, I want to keep some on hand for iced coffee too…

If you don’t have an ice cube tray, you can always use an egg carton!

Thanks for visiting the Leprechaun Village today, I hope you enjoyed your sip & a nosh~
