Tablescapes, Dining with Mermaids

a sunny day by the sea
and a lunch with mermaids was meant to be
a cold soup perhaps to begin the repast
served of course in a margarita glass
and more to come on these sea shell plates
with extra silverware standing by in a jar, just in case
it’s needed when we begin to dine
and the meal will be complimented by a lovely glass of wine~
uh oh, something appears to be fishy!
No more wine for this little missy!
sit back, relax and linger today,
the sun has chased all the clouds away
Come back by any time, the mermaids are always around to dine!
Thanks so much for spending time here today, I hope I’ve brightened your life in some small way!

Aren’t you feeling clever with this post! Not only do you share a fun and happy table, you’ve thrown in rhyming words. We brought all our porch furniture up yesterday, and it would be great to have your mermaids there.
I love this post, Jenna! Beautiful table and view, also.
“blabla”? Really? That’s the manufacturer name? That’s cute!!!!
This is a neat seaside table, Jenna! The margarita glasses are almost “dreamy” looking! Cute as they can be!!! Everything looks terrific, and I would give my eye teeth to be sitting at that table with a pitcher of margaritas, Miss Made by blabla sitting across from me, and just whiling away the time like I’m going to live forever!!! Mission accomplished: you have “brightened [my] life in some small way”!!! 🙂
You are welcome any time, I will gladly whip up a pitcher of margaritas just for you! Blabla dolls are the cutest things ever, you need to check them out if you need a baby present or something for a small child, they are so adorable and you have to love the name!
Wishing you a great weekend!
Jenna
Very enjoyable post! I found you from the Pinterest Blitz party! Off to pin you now!! Have a great weekend!!~~Angela
How beautiful, it makes me want to go to sea level and have lobster! The maragrita glasses are adorable, and the background is dreamy too! Enjoy your weekend.

Jenna, You definitely put a smile on my face! How delightful to dine with the mermaids by the water~ love your poetry to accompany your table! The martini imbibing mermaid on your pillow is too cute 🙂
Love your seaside tablescape! Where did you find the beautiful house that you used as your centerpiece?
oh Marcia, I have no idea! I’ve had it for a long time, sorry! Thanks for your comment!
Jenna
Too cute!! The mermaid is adorable! Love that perfect backdrop!
You had me with the aqua and white color story. Just the perfect touch of mermaid whimsy for a fun water side luncheon. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
A great seaside table. I’m sure the margaritas tasted even better with that view.
I’m back for another swim and to dine with the mermaids 🙂 Love the whimsy~
Love the poetry and your fishy table! I’ll join the mermaid as I’d love to dine at your cute table. Cold soup in a margarita glass sounds like a great idea. Fun!!
I don’t know what I love more, the table…or the view!
Delightful! Your little rhyme and charming table gave me a little beach trip. You have a gorgeous view, the perfect spot for a mermaid lunch. Love the needlepoint pillow, but don’t see any needlepoint offered on the link. Do you sell these?
Hi Sarah, thank you for the lovely comments. I don’t sell completed needlepoint, I just paint and stitch my own canvases.
Jenna
A really lovely summer tablescape and I love your mermaid.
