I was over at DD’s the other day, my darling daughter was married 2 years ago and has such lovely things to play with~

I used a place mat to line the tray which I found by the fireplace in DD’s living room

Such fun it is to play with someone else’s things! I see that your daughter has taste quite similar to my daughter. The French country style seems to be very popular among their generation.

  2. What a dreamy table…I wan to say it’s gorgeous (because it is) but the words that come to mind are; creamy and sweet…just plain dreamy.

Sooo pretty. DD has a beautiful collection of goodies to work with. Love the soft muted colors of this table. CC is precious! 🙂

What fun to get to play with your daughter’s dishes too! I often do just that when I visit someone who I think would understand. Ha! Her dishes are lovely, but that table is what really calls out to me. I’d love to have a long French farm table because they remind me of the wonderful meals we’ve had while vacationing in Provence. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I really like those colors, kind of muted and relaxing. Very nicely done. -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

  7. Fun to play with your daughter’s new dishes. Wouldn’t it be nice to start over with all new dishes too? I remember my mother feeling the same way. I love her patterns. The tablescape looks lovely.

  8. Forgot to mention your precious little helper. CC is so darling.

  11. I love the idea of playing with some else dishes! It gives you a whole new outlook. Not to mention that I don’t have a lot of dishes to mix & match! Your table is so pretty! I love the placemats & green dishes. I have been looking(not too hard), for that color. Your lucky to have your daughter living close to you,. Mine lives in Schenectady, NY and I ‘m in IL. Enjoy setting tables together!
