I wanted to use my vegetable plates one more time before putting them away for wintertime,
and thought they might look cute with pumpkins~
I ran across a recipe for Pumpkin Soup with Apples
and one thing led to another,
and before I knew it,
There was a table full of apples and pumpkins!
The centerpiece is a rattan tray with a couple of velvet pumpkins, some various real pumpkins and some goblets of fall flowers
November is often rainy in Alabama
gray, dreary inside days…
but this table is bound to keep things bright!
I just LOVE PUMPKINS! They are my favorite favorite thing about fall
except for Halloween of course,
and Thanksgiving…
and all the wonderful foods and recipes and scents of fall…
I guess I just pretty much love it all!
Come on back tomorrow and I’ll serve you up a bowl of Pumpkin Soup with Apples!
for a tutorial on burlap wine bottle wraps, such as the one pictured on the table,Ā click here

This is great, Jenna! From the centerpiece to the tiny pumpkins in what looks like egg cups. Not sure, but whatever they are, it has inspired me to try this with egg cups for yet another pumpkiny table, before I begin bringing out Christmas.
Thanks Pat, I’m not sure what they are either, I use them for all kinds of stuff! I am flattered to be an inspiration to you!
I just had an acorn squash soup with apples at a restaurant in Charlottesville, VA. It tasted very much like yours sounds which was very good. Love the plates!
Very pretty table, Jenna! I have a glass table in my kitchen that is always a pain for me to try to photograph, but you did a great job! I love the apples mixed in with the pumpkins and I look forward to your soup recipe.
Jenna, Love your colorful table with pumpkins and apples! I tell myself every year I’m going to make some pumpkins from sweaters or velvet but never get around to it. I’m going to try to remember to save my stems for next year š
Love this tablescape!! And it works so well with your veggie plates!

Lovely table setting…..I love pumpkins, so much you can do with them around the home. Your plates are adorable too!
Beautiful! I could use some more fall decoration in my house!
I love those plates with your pumpkins and apples! Great choice to use them before their winter hibernation. I’m drooling over those velvet pumpkins, too!!
Beautiful job, love your tablescape. Hmm, pumpkins and apples, the combo is perfect.
What a fantastic harvest table…those plates are great!
Have a wonderful week, Jenna…
This has to be the prettiest pumpkin table I have ever seen!! Love all the different colors and textures. That last overhead shot of your whole table is fabulous!!
Aren’t you sweet, thanks Ann!
Beautiful harvest table. The soup sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing.
This is so pretty Jenna. I especially like your centerpiece.
Those are the cutest little bowls.
Your table is wonderful. I love all the touches you’ve done.
This table looks like I walked into a design store and it was the focal point! What a beautiful job you have done with all of the pumpkins and blending them with your veggie plates. It is just yummy!
I just love everything about this table! Mostly I love the sculptural approach to building your table setting, as if it’s a canvas you’re applying paint to and building to crescendo. That’s my mindset when I build a tablescape and it’s done to perfection here! It shows a real art for composition… š
This is SO cute and festive. I love your centerpiece, too. It is getting me in the mood for fall in our HOT temps today!
Great job!

I love the vegetable dishes and the cute pumpkins with the apples. The centerpiece looks lovely in the rattan tray. The velvet pumpkin looks so plush! You are making me long for fall. I love pumpkins and fall leaves. And then there is Halloween and Thanksgiving. So much fun. And the colors of rich golds and reds. And the spectrum of orange from rust to apricot. Maybe I better start poking into the bins of fall decor.
LOve the combo you put together. I can’t wait for Fall to get here because I love the variety of pumpkins out there from cloth to duck tape to styrofoam,.velvet ,lace what ever I scour pinterest and craft stores trying to add new pumpkins to my huge stash of homemade pumpkins.my husband refers it to the pumpkin patch covering the entire house.Susie
ha! That’s hilarious! I love pumpkins too, last year I even made aqua chevron ones for our beach house, but I can’t remember where I stashed them!
Still love this table all those beautiful colors and pumpkins….gorgeous!
