Tablescapes, Black & White Bistro

To distract myself from the falling snow a few days ago

that once again was not predicted in our deep Southern city

I set a table dreaming of a quaint cozy bistro

with coffee, lattes and biscotti

luscious dark chocolates

fine wine to drink and quality olive oils for drizzling

candles and flowers

and garlic for roasting and spreading on hot crusty french bread

Stacks of plates for courses and courses to linger over and enjoy

A dish towel for a place mat,  a casual homey touch

and some unexpected elements just to delight and surprise~

And a butler of course

to serve the butter

“le beurre”

and quietly tending to our needs~

A girl can dream can’t she?

Especially when the snow is falling, the schools are closing early, and the entire town is totally freaked, and shutting down, once again!

I pray for you brave Northern souls, I just can’t imagine~

Thanks for stopping by, I hope the dreaming here today warmed you up a little~
