Home Decor, Ball Jar Bouquet

Collect some jars
they don’t have to be all the same~
3 quart jars, 3 pint jars and 1 bud vase in the center
Fill the jars half way with water and form a cluster. Tie together with a ribbon
I put 3 large hydrangea blooms in the 3 quart jars
and then filled in with shorter stems of alstromeria in the pint jars
In the center I used tall stems of fat green blooms~ I don’t know their proper name 😳
and then I tucked in some purple Peeps on wooden skewers and a moss bunny
this is not easy to transfer so place it on a tray if you like
and try it out in various spots!
my yard is slowly coming to life
I am hoping to have flowers planted and growing soon so I won’t have to import them!
You can also create smaller arrangements with 2 or 3 jars
I think it’s fun to use different sizes and/or colors
Try burlap ribbon or twine
I stumbled across these handy little Mason jar accessories the other day
These frog lid grids sit perfectly under the jar rim to hold your stems in place
You don’t have to tie the jars together
Just place the jars in a grouping and you still have the effect of a large bouquet
Don’t you just love endless possibilities?

Oh I love your idea with the jars Jenna. Beautiful arrangements and I will be making one of these. Great for summer too I think.

Jenna, you bouquets are beautiful, and how clever to cluster several jars and tie them with a pretty ribbon. You’re right. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m going to be trying this idea some time soon. laurie
thanks sweet Laurie!
You’re speaking my love language Jenna, a Ball jar bouquet with PEEPS! How cute and easy is that for Easter or any occasion?! Your green blooms look like viburnum, LOVE that green & purple polka dotted ribbon!
This is a really great tutorial for everyone, but especially those who don’t feel comfortable assembling bouquets. It’s an almost “no-fail” thing! Using the Ball jars just makes it that much cooler! And who DOESN’T have a bunch of those jars sitting around??? 🙂 Glad to see your yard is taking shape for the season. Ours? Still getting a check in the “YUCK!” column!
Have a happy Easter, and be safe!
Jenna, I am so glad you shared this easy to do tutorial at Gardens Galore! I love the “fat green blooms”!
Thanks Pam! >
I just love this idea of the multiple jars together! So unique and pretty!
Thanks AnnMarie! >
What a cute idea- love how it turned out! I found those wire frog pieces by accident too and they really help. I stuffed one down into a vase once to help some flowers stand up better.
oh good idea! Thanks Liz! >
I’m a little late visiting all the links from Gardens Galore but have been out of town. Glad you shared this post again because you have been creative and inspiring. How cute to tie bows around the jars. Neat to know about the jar grids!
Thanks Bonnie, I can’t grow blooms but I can arrange them 🙂 >
