I decided to give my flowers and plants a little encouragement this year

the fruit and vegetable patch is tucked in a far corner of the back yard at the edge of the woods

These are 1.5″ x 1.5″ poplar posts that I got at Home Depot for $1.25 each

I gave them a light coat of spray paint and then painted each side with different text, designs, shapes and colors

    These are just adorable. How colorful. Time to get in the garden is here and having these adorable stakes would just wake me up and excite me every time I entered the garden. The decor on the top is just fabulous. Enjoy your garden.

    So cute and festive Jenna! Your garden stakes would add cheer and color to anyone’s pots or garden! Our freeze date is traditionally April 15th but we had a cold snap a couple of days ago, I’m itching to dig in the dirt 🙂

  10. These garden stakes are really nice. We just moved into a new home over the holidays and I am starting my gardens now. I can think of a couple of cool stakes to make to put into my front garden. I doubt they will come out as nicely as yours did!
