Creations, Recycled Monogram

How was your Easter?

We spent ours with some rock stars

and if you hang out with rock stars you soon realize, they are wild creatures, always searching for adventure~such as slaying dragons and hunting for buried treasure… and they hate to be bothered by papparazzi

Babies Rock Stars grow so FAST!

This precious onesie was given to CC by a special friend and when she grew out of it,  I had to save the adorable  monogram and reuse it

DD and I found a turquoise t-shirt and lime gingham shorts

Stitch the edge of the cut out and then iron it onto a piece of Heat n Bond material

Then trim the heat bond piece to the size of the applique and iron it on your new item

I decided to stitch again over the first stitching and did a crappy job         hmmmmm…

maybe it will look better from a distance

It’s cute with the ruffled shorts, maybe know one will notice the messy stitching….

There, that’s better!

This ruffle edge ribbon is stretchy, so it was easy to sew it around this oval applique.

I think a brown corduroy backed pumpkin wagon is going to end up on a shirt this fall!

Thanks for dropping by!

note:  Heat n Bond or similar products are available at fabric stores
