We kicked off the weekend with a simple little Daisy Dip

DSC_0003

You can see that I didn’t exactly slave away in the kitchen…

DSC_0005

I did string and cook the snow peas! One whole minute in the micowave, whoo that was a lot of work!

DSC_0006

I bought the  tri color peppers already chopped, which really made things easy peasy

Oh yeah, I did cook some bacon too…20-25 minutes at 350 on a parchment lined baking sheet or use cooked bacon bits

It can cook while you’re sipping on a Skinny Girl Margarita or a Firefly

This dip looks so pretty and as everyone starts to dive in, it sort of mixes itself

We noshed on this for an extended cocktail hour with some good friends

These Cape Cod Waffle Cut fries were perfect, they are light but sturdy, and they are more bite sized than so many chips. They also did not get soggy in the salt air~

My roses didn’t last the week, but we were enjoying our Red White and Sea Blue boat so much I replaced them with some red carnations and a big blue hydrangea

Hooray for the red white and blue and Happy Memorial Day to you!
