In fact, I just can’t think of anything more fun than flip flops, funky flowers, fuchsia and flying adirondack chairs! And blue jars with parasol topped striped straws, and a watermelon bowl to eat something yummy out of with sea stripped blue flatware!   That is FUN!

Hi Jenna – FUN is so right! I love the Fuchsia flying chairs. With each picture I kept seeing myself… sitting there… watching the water… eating watermelon… sipping lemonade… and talking with you about how much fun we are going to have at Kathleen’s tablescape party tonight. Now that, my friend, is a perfect summer afternoon. Hugs, Holly

  4. Only you! Flying adirondacks, a wine bottle wearing a shirt, and flip flops holding the napkins! I love it all!

  5. Oh, yes you CAN do fun in a BIG, BIG way!!! this is so cute! The flip flops I remember from previous posts, and I still think that is one of the neatest ways to hold a napkin ever!!! The Adirondack chair looks like it’s caught up in one of our Midwestern twisters! Those are never fun…until they are on your wild and wonderful table!

So, so cute. You hit the nail on the head with 100% precision!

I could really go for a watermelon bowl full of cold fresh fruit salad and a cool ocean breeze right about now! Your setting looks great:@)

  9. Mary says:

Jenna, Flip flops, Adirondack chairs, drinks with a parasol and a waterview pretty much sums up my definition of fun! Love the whimsy and creativity of your lantern centerpiece! We just had a storm blow through last week that tossed one of our chairs into the lake. We fished it back out, fortunately no worse for wear. Hope your weather at the Gulf Coast doesn’t imitate your centerpiece 🙂

  10. Jenna, I could sit on this deck enjoying the beautiful view even without a fun table, but your whimsical setting makes the pleasure so much greater. I love love love the colors!!!! Hot pink and that blue, oh my!!! And the little bit of green really makes it perfect. Linda

  11. Pam says:

Love the colors and who would think of those cute flipflops as napking holders,
adorable. If you needed cheering up this should do it…………..and loved the
back drop of the ocean…………very nice!
    Blessings, Nellie

  16. Marigene says:

Jenna, you certainly can do fun! This is such a happy table, makes me smile. Flying Adirondacks, hope no one gets hits…might hurt a little. I ♥ the watermelon bowls…and I don’t even like watermelon or any kind of melon! Cute flatware, too.
    Have a great week.

  17. Judy says:

  19. Candy S says:

This is totally darling. I love it. You have met the whimsical challenge and beyond. The watermelon bowls set the stage for fun, the centerpiece is nothing but pure whimsey, and the sea toned flatware and the blue mason jar glasses finish the picture with strokes of genius. Really, now I am not kidding, this is the best whimsey table so far (but I do have a lot more to look at). Have a wonderful week….. Candy

  20. Miss Jenna, your tablescapes are always fun, but this table is the embodiment of Summer Whimsey. It is worthy of a new chapter in the “Alice in Wonderland” book, maybe right after the Mad Hatter’s tea party. I love everything about it.
