Creations, Summer Crafts & Beachy Accessories
In the process of dragging around trying to recover cleaning up and putting away after our recent Family Reunion, I realized that I have several quick and easy craft ideas that I haven’t shared with you and I was really glad because my creative mojo is totally drained
Similar to the Beachy Bench,
and Mermaid Pot,
these everyday accessories were decorated with shells, tiles, glass beads and sea glass
An inexpensive mirror and a small cabinet from a craft store get new life and lots of pizazz with some paint and a little bling
I have a big box of old jewelry and various found items that is fun to dig through and find things to re-use such as this faux emerald hair clip [line of stones center front]
and this enameled circular piece that was once part of a necklace
glass tiles, sea glass and craft stones were added with some paint dots to decorate this key cabinet or jewelry box
This inexpensive mirror got dressed up with more tiles, glass and paint
The tissue box was an unfinished wooden piece purchased from the craft store, painted and decorated with some large glass fish shapes that were formerly part of a wind chime
More dots and swirls and sea glass
Jute or twine wrapped around a colorful bottle gets a summer look with shells tied and glued on the knotted ends
The mirror was a weathered wood piece that I dry brushed with golden ochre and turquoise paint and sanded to make it look old and worn
More tiles, stones, ceramic pieces decorate the top, bottom and corners
Now, don’t you want to go glue something?

Yes, yes, yes! I need to find some fun things like you have to glue on though! You could start a craft booth with these beachy items. What beautiful projects and they look so great out by the pool. Enjoy them all!
