September already?
Football Season! There will be a lot of finger food on this month’s list!
This is a list of recipes I am going to use for cooking inspirations this month, a little thinking ahead and organizing makes menu and meal planning so much quicker for me~ and helps inspire me to create new dishes~
Appetizers
-Sundried Tomato Hummus
-Ham and Manchego Croquettes with smoked pimento aoli from Food 52
-Mushroom Poppers
-Game Day Nacho Bar
-Antipasto Muffins
Sides
-Salted Pretzel Hassleback Rolls
-Vegetable Tian
-Zucchini and Caramelized Onion Galette from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage
-Sweet Potato Flautas
Main
-Orange Balsamic Glazed Chicken Thighs from Sweet Treats and More
-Stone Fruit Gazpacho with Scallops from Epicurious
-Strata with Spicy Sausage, Gruyere, Spinach and Shallots from Simply Suzanne’s
-Roasted Garlic Parmesan Eggplant Lasagna Boats from Half Baked Harvest
Desserts and Miscellaneous
-Brookies
-Snickers 7 layer bars
-Butterscotch Crunch Crescents from Easy Meals and Party Planning
-Lunch on a stick
…………………………………
Here’s what I made from the August Paint Bucket
-Club Sandwich in a Bowl turned into Club Sandwich in a Roll. This recipe will be posting next week. These are great leftover and reheated too!
Caramelized Onion and Veggie Quesadillas transformed into a sweet and Savory Apple Pie Quesadilla with Bacon
Jalapeno & Bacon Corn Dip from Damn Delicious turned into Creamy Corn Dip with Bacon, Tomatoes and Green Chiles
Green Bean “Fries” turned into Parmesan Crusted Veggie Fries with Lemon Aoli
Sausage and Apricot Skewers turned into Hawaiian Chicken Kebabs with Smoked Sausage Peaches and Apricots
Breakfast Kebab turned into Breakfast on a Stick, this was featured on Posed Perfection’s Creative Ways
Instead of making The Best Ever Vanilla Cupcakes from the Cafe le Sucre Farine [which I am definitely still going to make] I made Vanilla Scones with Cranberries, Apricots and Pecans for the Secret Recipe Club
I would have to say my favorite recipe this month was Breakfast on a Stick, it was as much fun to make as it was to eat!
I hope you’ll try some of these recipes and be inspired to put your own twist on them~
