It’s easy to dry roses, just hang them upside down before they start dropping petals and leave them alone for a few weeks

Bring on the sunshine…tapas in the vineyard is one of my favorite things Jenna! Love your artful and delicious spread and I’d be happy to help myself to some spinach and artichoke purses! We like Mer Soleil Silver too, I have an empty bottle on my bottle tree. Looking forward a taste of your Antipasto Cocktail Cupcake 🙂

  2. lulu says:

Wow, I want one of everything. Whoever got to enjoy this spread had a very lucky day.

  3. Kathleen says:

It looks gorgeous! I don’t drink, I get my sunshine the old fashioned way, but with sunscreen!

  4. This all looks so tasty and pretty! Where do you find Mer du Soleil? I don’t think I have ever seen it.

    • hi Ellen, it is widely available, Western in Vestavia and Whole Foods usually have the best price, but it’s available at Target 280 and Publix at Lee Branch~ it’s an unoaked chard, I think you’d love it!

Very pretty! A lovely way to spend an afternoon:@)

Looks like a fun party! I love how all the natural decor came together! It looks like it could be in a painting! I bet some of the pictures would look really neat done in the Waterlogue app and then framed 😉 Thanks for sharing at my Creative Ways Link Party! Have a great week.
    Blessings,
    Nici

  7. This is my idea of a great lunch! I love bread, cheese, grapes and apples for lunch. It’s my favorite! Of course, a glass of wine is always welcoming!
    Blessings My Friend,

Jenna, that all natural centerpiece is beautiful. I’d buy that wine just to have the bottle! I want to attend a party you host. In addition to beautiful decor, you always have the best looking (and sounding) food. laurie

Loving this setting and the food! Looks wonderful and I think I’ll join you.

  10. A day without wine?!??!??!?!?! What IS this madness you speak of??!?!?!! Well, I never!!! 🙂

This is a really impressive setup, Jenna. I like it that you were able to use pieces given to you as wedding gifts. They helped create a gorgeous table! I really like the addition of the dried roses, too. It gives the table a kind of old world look. You did a really, really great job. Have a fantastic weekend!

Gorgeous Post!! Everything looks just beautiful!! I just threw out some roses my husband gave me for our anniversary – I wish I had read this about a 4 days earlier!! almost a shame that the food has to be consumed it looks like pieces of art, if it tastes as good as it looks- you are a true master!

    • oh, thank you Ann, this means a lot coming from you! I can’t bear to throw out roses, so I always dry them…they are still delicate but you can use them if you’re careful. I have read about perserving them other ways, but if it’s too complicated I won’t do it 🙂

If only pictures could come to life! Every single element here is perfection, thank you for the inspiration.
