Cruise through the produce section the next time you want to create a gorgeous floral arrangement and see what catches your eye

I am always drawn to radishes and swiss chard because of their complementary color contrast of green and pinky reds

To get the most bang in any composition whether you are arranging flowers, staging a vignette or making an artful composition, think about the color wheel

Colors directly opposite each other on the color wheel are complementary colors, they provide the strongest contrast when used together, and reinforce each other        photo source

I used a mercury glass vase that my SIL gave me last Christmas [West Elm] and put the pink roses in the center

Next in went the swiss chard leaves around the roses

Every one of these are so creative and fun and unusual! I have never thought of swiss chard and radishes!! They are fabulous. I have always used lemons, pomegranates, herbs and artichokes, but you have opened my eyes to other veggies.
Your diaper roses are so fun too. Great job Jenna!
Isn’t it wonderful that grocery stores now carry flowers at such reasonable prices? I just love it!

Radishes and roses….I love it though it would be hard to keep my hubby from picking the radishes out of the arrangement as they are one of his favorite things to munch on. I’m going to look at the produce department with a whole new I thanks to you.
