Do they make a mess
and leave it for you to clean up?
Do you have to tell them when it’s time to go?
And even after seeing them off,
you still have a few that linger a while longer?
When all is said and done, they’re family, you love all their quirks and characters
Thanksgiving is a time of camaraderie, drama, family and love
Be thankful, and enjoy the bounty of your relationships and surroundings
Appreciate the beauty of nature
and her endless surprises
and gifts
And when the festivities wind down, and they’ve all gone home, and you are starting to miss the chaos and the fun…
Just remember, they’ll all be back next year!
