Tablescapes, Winter Holiday
I combined elements from the Sweet Sugarplum Fantasy table and the Eat Drink and Be Merry table for a Winter Holiday table our family can enjoy as we count down to Christmas
The Christmas Cottages joined the woodland wreath for a snowy centerpiece
On a furry table runner
I added filament lights and more ornaments to the wreath
We generally have to “import” snow here in Alabama
Red sashes dress up the chairs
I only have 2 “eat drink and be merry” plates, so I used them to keep some woodland animals warm and cozy…
I got the dinner plates at Home Goods last fall, 4 Santas and 4 snowmen. I call them my Vietri knock-offs~ You can see last year’s Copycat Vietri table, Old St. Nick here
We might be ready for holiday dining, but now I better do some shopping ^^’

So cute! I love the little gingerbread houses!
So cute! I like to have the table decorated through the season as well. It is a way to enjoy the Christmas dishes without washing them everyday!

This is beautiful, Jenna! I’m salivating over those Santa plates! I wish we had a Homegoods store! They seem to have more dishes to choose from than T.J. Maxx. I know it’s the same basically, but we have very limited Christmas dishes. I enjoyed your combo table…hope you all enjoy it, too, as you celebrate Christmas. Merry, Merry!!
Thanks Kim, HG is just my favorite, but we have TjM and Marshalls but I never venture in there…I have to stay out of HG, they always seem to take my $$. Merry Christmas to you and your family, I know next week will be busy busy!

Oh Jenna, your dining room is stunning. The table centerpiece is gorgeous, love, love, love it! Bottle brush trees get me every time and I love how you used them. You’ve done a fabulous job, certainly will be in my inspiration file for next year.

First, I will gladly export all the snow you need straight from Missouri…Lee’s Summit to be exact! Although we have yet to have “a big one” this season, we know it’s coming…and we are NOT happy about that prospect!!! Worse are the ice storms we’re prone to here. That puts the whole metropolitan area on lockdown for days!!! We usually have advance notice, though, so the hardware stores are drained of all the salt and sand and shovels, and the grocery stores see a generous uptick in sales including kitty litter (for added traction) and comfort food items.
As for your tablescape, all I can say is, like soup in winter it is Mmm, mmmm good! I love the little lights around the birchwood centerpiece! That really gives it a Christmas-y look! I really like the whole run of the centerpiece. There’s a little something for everyone to enjoy down the entire length of the table!
