What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?
We usually keep it very simple
A romantic dinner for two perhaps
By the Christmas tree~
We’re going gold this year
paired with my favorite turquoise
Do you have a traditional food you eat for luck in the New Year?
I’m not really a fan of black eyed peas…
I’m more of a champagne girl…
So bring on the bubbly!
and celebrate a brand new year!
Here is what I’m dreaming of for our New Year’s Nosh
Lobster Tempura with Sweet Chili Aoli
Grilled Romaine Salad with Orange and Bleu Cheese
White Chocolate Butterscotch Challah Bread Pudding
and for breakfast
with a fruit kebab, like some of the ones from Breakfast on a Stick here

Sounds like you have a lovely evening planned Jenna! We have pork and sauerkraut (Earl won’t be attending:@) But that meal is usually a Sunday around New Years… Just to make sure I have a lucky 2015 I’ll fry up some bacon for breakfast… Happy New Year!
Love your gold and turquoise with your blingy new year chargers Jenna! A quiet dinner by the light of your beautiful tree sounds like a great way to ring in the new year! Your lobster tempura sounds too good to resist 🙂
I love the blinged out look of the gold chargers, I have been crushing on aqua and turquoise all year and I just love the look of the aqua and gold together. We will have lobster (that yummy looking tempura would be perfect) on New Years Eve and a pork roast on New Years Day.
Thanks so much Candy, your New Year sounds like it’s going to start out right! I look forward to seeing your creative tables next year!
Lovely! Thank you and Happy New Year’s to you and your family.
Thanks for all your sweet comments throughout the year Liz! Happy New Year!
What a beautiful table. Everything looks so festive. And it looks like you will be feasting on some very lovely food. Happy New Year to you and yours!
thanks so much! Happy New Year!
What a gorgeous table, Jenna…love all the aqua. Looks like you are all set for NYE…the menu sounds delicious. That Alice in Wonderland tray is awesome!
Happy New Year…
Thanks so much Marigene! Happy New Year to you!
Love it all!! Happy New Year!
Hi Jenna, Love the gold, it’s always chic for New Years Eve. I love champagne for NYE and a tradition with us to serve a black eyed peas side for NYD. Sometimes we love going out for New Years Eve but also enjoy being home, all cozy and safe.
All the best to you and yours in 2015!
Thanks so much Emily, enjoy your black eyed peas and champagne!
Jenna
My invitation must be lost in the mail! 😉 Everything looks so festive, Jenna. Love the picture with the Christmas lights outside the door. Enjoy your bubbly and Happy New Year!
ha! Thanks Kim! Happy New Year to you!
I totally love the colors you used. The gold and blues are such a great color combo! And the nosh….boy does it look great! Can that be fed ex’d? lol
Happy New Year!
Ha, thanks Christine! Happy New Year, I wish I could send you some!
Totally amazing. I love those plates. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me.
Thanks so much Marty!
But you HAVE to eat blackeyed peas, Jenna!!! They’re for prosperity!!! You’re supposed to eat those and some collard greens. I ate both…LOTS of it so maybe we’d be extra prosperous this year!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I wouldn’t have minded eating some of that lobster tempura, though. That looks so good! As for the bubby….ALL…NIGHT…LONG!!! 🙂
You set a nice table for 2, and I hope you and your husband enjoyed a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration. Happy 2015!!!
Well you are sure to have a great year! We had a challenging holiday, my MIL passed away, which is a happy thing really, as she was 99 and ready, but we were dashing between hospitals, nursing homes, and tried to go to the coast for a break but had to come right back and were so tired New Years Eve we went to bed at 9:30~ so our evening was but a fantasy, but I hope to recreate it soon! Our house got struck by lightning last night, but not too much damage. Not a great year so far! We keep saying our luck has to get better because it can’t get worse! Next year I’m coming to your house for blackeyed peas and collard greens!
Love the theme. Turqouise made everything so fancy.
Not really a blackeyed peas nor champagne either. I sip my lips and that matters.
Thank you for all the tutorial of your projects.
Have a great 2015…
