Take-out Tuesday, Bama Burger Sauce

Okay, so what’s one of the first things you want to do when the weather warms up?
Fire up the grill! [we grill no matter what the weather, but we still get excited]
And when you think of eating a hamburger, the first thing you start dreaming about is the toppings, right?
Or maybe the super special sauce…
Well Mississippi might have their famous Comeback Sauce, but this Bama Burger Sauce is sure to make you want more too!
What I like most is the addition of Worcestershire, it makes everything taste better…if you just use a little it adds a subtle underlying tang that you know is there but it remains mysterious…
Heinz Chili Sauce, Duke’s mayo, regular yellow mustard, garlic, lemon, onion powder, freshly ground black pepper, and Heinz Ketchup combine with the Worchestershire for a tangy topping
Just put everything in a pint jar and shake shake shake
Do it ahead of time and stash in the fridge so the flavors have time to mingle
I was planning on serving the burgers plain, but my grill master kicked it up a notch and put cheddar and bleu on the patties~
Now when someone is nice enough to make the patties and grill them, I’m certainly not going to complain if they’re covered with cheese 😋
Slather the sauce on the bottom of a toasted bun and pop the patty on top
This way you’ll have flavors going on everywhere
They were finger lickin’ great!

Yum – never heard of Bama sauce – might need to try it! 🙂
Bookmarked! I think this sauce will be on the menu the first day I break out Bella:@)
Oh I’m craving burgers now Jenna and sliders are just the right size to satisfy my craving! Blue cheese and cheddar, double cheese for double yum! I know your sauce has to be tasty, I’d have to dunk my fries in that 🙂
I’d love to try your special Bama Burger Sauce, Jenna. I don’t think we have Duke’s Mayo here in Texas, but I’ll check. Now I’m craving a big, juicy burger!!
Thanks Kitty, if you can’t find Dukes use Hellmans~ >
