I used square tiles {leftover from the kitchen back splash}

The centerpiece base is a square of leftover bathroom tiles, small subway glass tiles still on the backing

If you don’t have any leftover tiles, you can buy small quantities or sheets at home improvement stores

Turquoise is my very favorite color, and I love Somethin’ fishy, so it was easy to find things around the house to use on this table

Tiles can be used to make an impromptu serving platter, like the multicolored one below used for a “cupcake dress” at a Mexican bridal shower here

    Oh, Jenna, what a great idea for a placemat! I often see tiles for sale, and you’ve really given me an idea!! Loved your beach house tour: the colors are outstanding!! Take care: hope your summer is going well……Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

    Love your seaside table with your turquoise and blues Jenna! Your leftover tiles make the perfect placemats or trivet for serving! I’m admiring your pretty colorful goblets and the sunlight reflecting on all your glass surfaces and bowls at your table. Your beach kitchen and bath are beautiful with colorful and artsy tile selections and I love the blues and greens with your granite. Is it Uba Tuba?

    • Thanks Mary~the granite is Green Verde Butterfly, even though it looks quite dark it has subtle underlying green and turquoise tones which make it seem almost water like in certain light conditions~ >

    Jenna, this has to be my favorite of any table you have done…♥♥♥ the blue/green combo. I love everything about this table, from the tile placemats to the aqua decanter!
    Have a great week.

    Wow! Wow! And more wow! I love those buoy napkin holders!! Your chargers are beautiful, too. I’m pining over the rope-edged plates. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve conquered temptation for those at PB.com. (If I could decide on a color, I’d be done for!) The tile place mats are genius, Jenna! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your beautiful glass pieces. This table is tops! 🙂

    • Thanks Kim! I love the PB plates, and my sweet daughter bought me 4 turquoise and 4 blue, so I have plenty of ways to change them up~why don’t you buy some in several colors, I promise you will LOVE them! >

  11. Gorgeous table, you are making a tried and true lover of purple turn blue with envy! Love those dishes and glasses!

    Jenna, this is pure art! I love your table! I am not one to really get into tablescapes but this is drop dead gorgeous. You need to just leave that out year round because it isn’t going to get prettier than that!
