Tablescapes, Netting Crabs

I was Feelin’ Crabby recently
So I set a table by the soft blue sea
Crabs and shells joined me there
Sit right down, pull up a chair
I’ve netted some crabs and shells and things
Old wood buoys make my heart sing
Fish glasses are ready for a cool glass of wine
and Shell Forks are on board, ready to dine
The mugs are for gumbo, a favorite first course
They’re from Home Goods, my favorite dish source
Large painted chargers are the base of the stack
The Painting Crabs tutorial is here if you want to look back
These Crabby Clothes Pins joined in the fun
They jumped in the netting for a day in the sun
Napkins stay anchored with large star fish on deck
I hope dinner is ready because everything’s set!
Light the candle, pour the wine
It’s time to dine!
Thanks for going crabbing with me today~

You’ve done quite a number on your crabby table. Great choice of elements and combinations of colors and textures.
What a fun, fun theme! This is probably my favorite tablescape of all time. Love the creativity!
Thank you! It came together practically by itself 🙂
Nothing to get crabby about here! Too cute! What a fun table. Have a great day!
Thanks Joanne~ >
Well, I’d say you had some fun with this table. Really makes a person smile! Wish I were there dining on a big crab salad. Thanks for sharing the fun!
thank you Sarah!
Very cute! I see a scallop shell, do you go scalloping?
I wish! No our waters are too warm for scallops, we just have shrimp, oysters and blue crabs~thanks Kathleen~ >
Oh, how I wish I had seen those crabby plates and bowls – we would adore those for crab dinners at our house. Your setting of course is perfect and makes such an exquisite back drop! Wish I were sitting there with you right now. What a perfect table!
Thanks Jacqueline! I went to Home Goods 3 times in 2 days when I bought those dishes, I kept going back for more 🙂 >

Thank you Rhonda! >
Very pretty, Jenna, and I love the starfish holding the napkins down. You know what? I have never been to a Homegoods store…You’re making me want to go check it out! Gorgeous, fun, table, as always!

Beware of your wallet if you go to Home Goods Judy, it’s full of temptation! >
Jenna, this is my new favorite tablescape. It was put together with an artist’s eye for color and details. Everything is gorgeous, starting with the orange/blue colors and ending with the netting and starfish. You have captured summer on the Coast.
Love your tablescapes! Do you live here? I live in the country and long for a beach view.
How cute is this! Love the crabby dishes and the fish net wound throughout. Perfect colors by the ocean. Looks like it’s time for a cocktail!
No one would feel crabby dining at your table Jenna! I love your painted chargers revealed at your table along with those cute clothespins! Your orange polka dots and blue stripes make for the perfect linens for dining by the blue gulf waters or ocean sunset!
What fun colors! I am now craving the crab and lobster salad we had on Coronado Island last month. What a beautiful setting you have. Just perfect for this tablescape!
Such a fun and colourful table! I love the two-person setting and that you used the rest of the table to full advantage, decorating all the spaces. Looks terrific! And what a view you have…
Thank you Lori, we live on this porch~ >
Cute, cute, cute! And a perfect backdrop!
