It’s August
It’s HOT
Summer blooms are fading away
I had two hydrangea blooms begging to come inside
But, alas, only two…
So I mixed them with some dried ones from summers past, and a couple of faux blooms
And ended up with this Blooming Birdcage
It was too big for my kitchen island
so off to the foyer it went
Even though I have really enjoyed this Candlestick Grouping on the foyer table all summer,
It was time for a change

Jenna, Blooms and birdcages are two of my favorite things and I love the whimsy of your arrangement! It is beyond hot here and we desperately need rain. I’ve been out the door lugging the hose around at 6 am everyday trying to beat the heat and keep the flowers from perishing. My hydrangeas put on a new flush of blooms late last summer that lasted through fall but I don’t see that happening this year.
Wow! That makes a beautiful centerpiece! And, what a wonderful way to use a birdcage…and the hydrangea blooms, too. 🙂

I have one of these big birdcages over in the storage unit, After seeing how nice yours looks I am feeling inspired to drag it home and paint it up and apply some faux hydrangeas. Thanks for the great ideas….. Candy

Your bird cage is gorgeous! I love bird cages, and I just bought one a few weeks ago to hang in my craft room. The blue bird is cute, too. i have a red bird in mine. I’m looking for more bird cages and birdhouses to decorate the house with.

Love your blooming birdcage. Your birdcage is a gorgeous shape and color. Yes, sadly our hydrangeas are fading. I have some new blooms where I trimmed off the old ones a month or so ago. We’ve had so much rain that it has helped with new blossoms.
Your foyer looks very nice and I understand the need for a change.I’m not ready for pumpkins yet!!!
