Tablescapes, Bursting with Summer
Now that we are smack dab in the middle of August, I had to set one more table bursting with summer as a little summer send off…
It’s time to put the hot pink away
And let the autumn colors come out to play
Enjoy the last peaches, bursting with sweetness
And oh those strawberries, they make us so merry
How we will miss this summer fruit bliss
But sizzling hot temps we surely won’t miss
Savor the warmth of these last summer days
Embrace the bright colors, the heat and the haze
Eat some more berries, melon and peaches
Try to spend time on hot sandy beaches
These last summer days are like a treasure chest of old
But they’ll soon disappear faster than pirates steal gold
So enjoy these days bursting with the last summer brights
Before you know it we’ll be taken over with frights!

I love your cheery summer table with your pattern play and bright colors Jenna! We’re sweltering here and I’ve been ready to kiss summer goodbye since July. Fall can’t come fast enough for me but it doesn’t usually arrive here until mid to late October…*sigh* Hope you’re enjoying some blue skies and blue water views this weekend 🙂

What a pretty color combo…we still have several weeks of warm weather ahead…but I am anxious for cooler weather and the rich colors of autumn.

I am loving the bright and happy summer colors on your table. Your table is a lot of fun to see and read!! I did not know you were a poet…hehehe Just saying, your rhyming has timing, but for now it’s still summer, after fall the snow will be the bummer. Actually Fall is my favorite season. I love the warm days and cool nights of early Fall.

Jenna, this is such a happy tablescape. Just looking at all the bright colors brings a smile to my face. And how cute those little paint buckets are. I love the way you set the color tone with those brightly painted flower bottles in the center of the table, and all of the colors of plates pick up the colors beautifully.

What pretty summer colors! You have reminded me to go out and pick some of our bougainvillea for the table. It would match your dark pinks perfectly. I like the way you used the fabric patterns. They looks great together. I am done with the heat and looking forward to hints of that bottom picture!
