September by the seashore
The sun seems brighter than before
The skies sparkle blue
The water is a different hue
The colors of summer quiet down
Pastels, textures and very soft browns
faded colors and pale tones surround
We’re dining inside at a table top for 2
Chocolate truffles wait chair side for when we are through
Seashells and hydrangeas, my favorite summer things
Welcome pumpkins and candles
and the blankets fall brings
The sunsets make the sky an incredible sight
Everything settles down for a quiet fall night…

I love the soft blues combined with your woven textures and burlap pumpkin for ushering in fall Jenna! I was just noticing when I was taking photos yesterday about how the light has shifted in the last month and is lower in the horizon.There’s nothing prettier than a sunset on the water 🙂
i just woke up and I am ready to snuggle in for a seaside september evening [happy sigh!] 🙂
Nice post for a quiet cool morning. I think I’ll pull out a blanket and go sit on the porch with my coffee…..now…if I can just scratch up a chocolate truffle!

Beautiful, Jenna. I’ve noticed the skies are so blue right now…no more summer haze. I wouldn’t know about the water, though. If I lived at the beach, I would totally be lounging on the beach at sunset – with a blanket, of course! 🙂
