Holiday Gifts

I know Thanksgiving is this week, but it’s never too early to get some Christmas gift ideas in motion
Wondering what to take to your host or hostess when attending a holiday party? Always bring something that can be enjoyed at a later time so the host doesn’t feel pressured to add it to the menu or decor.
A super fast gift is Wild Snax
Grab some goodies while you’re out shopping, mix them up and put them in a pretty jar… buy some cookies or make some Peppermint Snowballs and pack them in a spray painted jar with a festive ribbon
These Party Favors are a snack mix of popcorn, peanuts and cheese puffs in a clear plastic bag and tied with a decorative tag “Orange cha happy you came”
Dinner in a Stocking is a great way to say Merry Christmas to a neighbor or family friends. This one has all the ingredients for Pumpkin Chili and a recipe card with instructions packed in a stocking
I love to put together Gift Baskets, like this one with a kitchen gadget theme and 1 color to unify all the elements. An orange colander is full of orange and white things for the kitchen. Shop World Market, Home Goods,Walmart and Dollar Stores for inexpensive goodies
Rosemary Salt is a wonderful addition to the holiday pantry
Rosemary Pine Nut Sables are a delightful nibble the host can enjoy as a treat in the days after the party
Bacon Salt adds that wonderful salty bacon flavor to potatoes, vegetables, eggs
Tie a small spoon to the jar with a gift tag or a recipe
Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam keeps for a month in the refrigerator
Mix up a batch of a favorite seasoning or BBQ rub and put it in small jars for a bunch of last minute gifts. Costco has great prices on bulk seasonings
This Everything Seasoning, is just like the everything bagel topping, and it tastes great on, ahem, everything!
And finally, everyone loves to relax with Game Night, Movie Night or a sporting event, so package some popcorn and snacks in a large clear sack and tie it up with a ribbon and a tag~ Bed Bath and Beyond has movie size candy boxes, which make a fun addition
Have fun with your holiday gifting!

These are all great ideas Jenna. I really like the dinner in a stocking!
Great ideas! I like to do theme gifts in baskets or other containers too. I usually get the large, clear basket bags at the dollar store to wrap them adding a bright bow too.
I’m with Pat, I love the dinner in a stocking idea! Very cool:@)

Thanks for all the gift inspiration Jenna, I already feel behind! We were out of town this weekend and then my MIL was admitted to the hospital yesterday. We’re trying to decide if we’ll simplify our Thanksgiving meal or whether to have our celebration later this weekend if it looks like she’ll be home. We’re keeping our fingers crossed. 🙂
Oh no! I’m so sorry! Sending prayers~ keep calm and pretend it’s almost Nov 1 not Dec 1! >
