Party Panache, Rosemary Mixed Nut Tartlettes

This is a great little party bite we enjoyed over the Thanksgiving weekend

They are a little sweet, a little savory, a little sinful and the rosemary makes them feel like

the holidays  🎄

and BONUS, they are super fast and easy to make…

Arrange the premade fillo dough tartlette shells on a parchment lined baking sheet

Next make the caramel coating by boiling butter, brown sugar and cream

Add nuts

I used deluxe mixed nuts {and picked out the filberts} and some dry roasted peanuts

Add fresh rosemary and stir to coat everything

Spoon filling into shells and bake

Don’t worry if they overflow a little, that’s what the parchment is for

Store them covered at room temperature

Rosemary Nut Tartlettes

Rosemary Mixed Nut Tartlettes

an elegant way to serve mixed nuts!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick or 8 T unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz deluxe salted mixed nuts
  • 2 oz dry roasted peanuts
  • 3 T chopped rosemary
  • 2 packages {15 count each} frozen mini phyllo tart shells

Instructions
 

  • Place tart shells on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Melt butter in saucepan, add brown sugar and cream. Bring to a boil, and boil gently for 2 minutes. Stir in nuts and rosemary. Add salt if desired. Carefully spoon nut mixture into tart shells. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Store at room temperature, covered tightly.
