Gifts from the Kitchen, Coconut Rum Snowball

I have been busy filling jars for gifts lately, and I couldn’t wait to share this one with you while there is still plenty of time to put these together

Dessert cheeseballs are always a fun addition to any gathering, and paired with this season’s cute Pepperidge Farm Christmas cookies, it is a festive presentation

Did you know you can get just about any flavor extract in a powder form?

I bought these from amazon.com here and here*

You can easily make tags in PicMonkey, I designed mine with 4 on a page.  Or you can download the free printable of the front of the tag here.  It will take you to another page that will have coconut rum snowball highlighted in green.  Click on that and you will go to the printable page

Below is the back, you can design your own back or just write your message

I printed these tags on card stock, cut them to size, and used a hole punch to thread wired ribbon through

  1. I have never tried a dessert cheeseball, but I must admit this sounds delicious. I, of course love coconut, so that might be why this really grabs my attention. I am thinking this might also be delicious on apples and celery, which might make it a tiny bit healthier! I have pinned this and will be sharin gover on FB and Twitter! Thank you so much for sharing over at Celebrate Your Story!

  4. Judy Pimperl says:

You just introduced me to something new–those powders. Have you used them in any other ways? Just curious and trying to think of all the ways they could be used.
    …another cute gift idea!

    • The powders can be substituted for any extract, 1 tsp powder to 1 tsp extract. They are a little pricey, but not when you compare the amount you get with powder verses those small bottles of extract. I made 14 snowball jars and still have a ton leftover~ thanks Judy! >

  5. Lynn says:

Sounds very tasty! I’ve never heard of the powdered extracts before and the gingerbread family cookies are cute too:@)

  6. Mary says:

What an adorable gift Jenna! I wonder if that delicious snowball would last longer around here than a real one with our 70 degree temperatures 🙂 Powdered extracts are new to me, I would love to find a Red Velvet powder since I make such a mess with the liquid version.

  7. Jenna, I love a sweet cheeseball! This one sounds yummy! Great recipe and gift ideas! Happy Monday!
