Tablescapes, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Eve

‘Twas the night before Christmas Eve
Critters were stirring here, you’d better believe!
Presents were nestled snugly under the tree
And Santa was watching from above, do you see?
Looking around I spied a big sack…
No wait, there are two, post marked North Pole, how about that!
There are handmade ornaments, this tree’s not designer
This is one made by my sons, there’s just nothing finer!
And look at this little gift tucked under the tree
It’s from my sweet grandson, it says To: GiGi
An early present came in the mail…
Crewel Yule is the name of this Needlecraft Tale
This table is set for me and my Santa, he won’t lift a finger
We can sit here all evening, to relax and to linger
Enjoying the lights
and all the holiday sights
Our tree is topped with an elf diving in
I wonder what other mischief he will get in…
He’d better not touch that candy cane spoon!
Or the bottle of wine we plan to drink soon!
Merry Christmas to All
On this night before Christmas Eve night!
Enjoy the magic of this holiday~ and most of all remember the reason for the season…
