Take-out Tuesday, Slow Cook Sticky Chicken

I don’t know about you, but I’m all cooked out… 😵

But, you can make this even on those days when you don’t want to cook, 5 minute prep, cook 4-6 hours, enjoy!

The sauce is made from pantry staples, ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic powder

Mix everything together in a measuring cup

Season the chicken with salt and pepper and pour sauce evenly over the pieces

Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours

The sauce thickens and coats the meat by the end of cooking

Slow Cook Sticky Chicken

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 6 hours
Course Main Course, slow cooker
Cuisine American, Asian
Servings 4

Ingredients
  

  • 4 skinless chicken thighs bone in or boneless
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • sesame seeds for garnish if desired

Instructions
 

  • Spray or line slow cooker. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Combine ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic powder to make a sauce. Pour sauce evenly over all. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours. Garnish with sesame seeds just before serving.
