To work hard and be humble, and not let our heads swell

But our TIDE PRIDE is not humble, we just have to YELL!

Football is a religion in this state, and every fan has their creed:

An Alabama fan:

Someone who bleeds crimson & white

Knows that “Alabama” is simply pronounced “Bama”

Refuses to wear Orange & Blue {the colors of their dreaded rival Auburn}

Owns at least one houndstooth something

Knows how to paint the town red

Knows herd of elephants is a force to be reckoned with

Has a pet named “Bear”

Knows a good band is worth a million dollars

Was born to yell “Roll Tide!”

And food of course,  another huge source of Southern pride!

And  Apricot Pineapple Gorgonzola Cheese Spread, is always a request

Potato Chip Fried Pickles will add Southern style

Red & White Velvet Brownies will always bring smiles

We’ll be noshing on Tiger Bones, Clemson Tigers watch out!

    Dear sweet Jenna,
We have so much in common…
but on this score we differ…
    you see, I’ve not forgotten….
my love for the other Tigers does not wither…
but, your table looks festive and the food quite digestive.
Hope your day is fun and that you remember this…
we are still friends when it’s all said and done. (My attempt at poetry!)
    Love to you and yours.

  3. Liz Mackie says:

Wonderful recipes. Thank you and have a great day.

  4. Emily says:

Wow Jenna, You are pulling out all the stops for this celebration! Win or loose, it will be a celebration, just getting to the playoffs is a win! Not sure what we’ll be doing yet, definitely not going. I do know you will be serving a delicious spread, especially that taco boat, yum………..

  5. I love it love it love it all!!

  6. Jenna, a post after my own heart! We love Bama football and so want to win the national title again! Love everything about this from all the “roll tide” stuff to the food! Roll Tide Roll!!!🐘🐘🐘

  7. Mary says:

Love all your team pride Jenna! Your table is over the top fun with the houndstooth check, wreath and painted vase centerpiece! My husband’s family are all big Clemson fans and my BIL and FIL are/were alums. We’ll definitely be watching. 🙂

  8. Kim says:

I love all your festive serving platters and bowls. Did you paint them all? It looks like you’re all set! Have fun and good luck! 🙂

  9. Jeri says:

As a Hokie Fan I am always trying to find orange and maroon things for a September tablescape. I love this. Hopefully I can make a table look this spectacular and fun for the games I can’t make. Nothing like homegating when tailgating isn’t an option.

  10. Everything looks so festive and yummy, as usual, Jenna! I can’t help thinking, though, that those decorations would look so much better in purple and gold!!!! (hee hee) –Just kidding — My family went to Houston for the Texas Bowl and brought home an LSU win, so that was fun. Still haven’t gotten to the beach yet, but we’re hoping in the next couple of weeks to make it there. Have a great New Year!

  11. Candy S says:

Go Bama!!! You know scarlet and gray would suit me so much better, but if it cannot be scarlet and gray then may the winner be crimson and white! You did a great job setting everything up for the festivities. Good luck to your team.
