Creations, Ribbon Heart

Here is a super thrifty, fast and easy, DIY that anyone can do
All you need is a wire coat hanger and some ribbon or fabric strips…
Untwist the neck and use your hands or pliers to bend and shape into a heart. You can keep the hook or straighten the wire and wind it around the top part of the heart. Either way, once you add the ribbon it will be concealed
I found this ribbon 75% off after Christmas, but you can also use strips of fabric, an old sheet, just about anything
Cut a bunch of 12 inch ribbon pieces or fabric strips
Tie them onto the wire in 1/2 knots
Endless possibilities here… add red for a traditional Valentine look, or black, for sexy drama… pure white would be heaven for a baby’s nursery, or make one using the bride’s colors for a shower or wedding
I loved the plain silver, but decided to add the pink and sea green chevron ribbon
Here it is hanging on a tabletop chalk board easel with a pink heart drawn on the board
A Valentine centerpiece
or vignette
You can hang it on the front door
or make several for chair backs for a or party table or Valentine meal
Tie it on a special Valentine surprise…shhh… 💝
Put a little love in your life!

What a festive Valentine’s wreath and easy DIY Jenna! I *heart* the idea for a wreath for the door for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner!
I heart your heart!
Very pretty and you are so talented with so many great inventive ideas.
Such a good idea, Jenna, and an actual craft I think I can do!! I especially like the idea of hanging a wreath on the back of each dining chair. Thanks for sharing this! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Jenna, I am not a very good crafter, but I think I can manage this sweet heart wreath! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love this, Jenna! I’m all set with the hanger from making a heart wreath out of my pink pom-pom scarf. After Valentine’s last year, I put the scarf back in my closet. I’m actually wearing the scarf today. So, the “hanger heart” is empty and waiting for this perfect wreath…and I have scraps from a lavender sheet that was ruined in the laundry, and I used a huge block for the bed skirt I published recently. I don’t normally leave links in comments, but I want to personally invite you to Meet Me on Periscope tomorrow morning. http://curtainqueencreates.com/meet-me-at-periscope-friday/ I hope to see you there!
I look forward to your creation! I read about your periscope thing, sounds like fun, but I couldn’t do it today~ thanks for the link >
This is a great idea and I must say looks easy enough that could do it! Thanks for sharing!
