Oh Jenna. How fun and what an amazing artist you are. So many talents. I’ve been yearning to watercolor carrots lately too. I adore the carrot apron!!!
Jenna, I posted a comment and it vanished and gave me an error message, probably operator error or my cranky laptop. I love your centerpiece with your leafy pitcher and carrot top! Your pretty watercolor fruits and veggies lend themselves perfectly for a painted apron! I was going to suggest something garden and your herbs on your window frame would be so cute on the pockets of an apron. I’ll put my thinking cap on and pop back by if I come up with anything original, I haven’t had enough coffee yet this morning 🙂
This is such a creative post. My daughter has a pet rabbit. He would be in his glory feasting away on all of this! All of your sketches would make wonderful images for an apron. Looks like you will have fun with this!
Jenna, whenever I am looking for a new recipe I search The Painted Apron. As my family would tell you, my favorite things are , gardening, flowers and watermelon. I love seeing the tables apes. Since we will be heading to theGulf Coast in a few weeks, enjoy the coastal scenes.
Hi Jenna, Your carrot topped apron is adorable! Ooooo~~I would love to see one with a huge sunflower or maybe a field of sunflowers scattered about! As for eating carrots, while I like munching them like a bunny with lettuce, my favorite way to enjoy them is with a butter and maple syrup glaze! Yum, yes, not calorie free, but oh so good! Linda
ADORABLE APRON!!!
I love every single one of these possibilities. Absolutely wonderful, Jenna!
The apron is so adorable! You are quite the artist! Your table is so cheerful and spring-y!
PS I’d be thrilled to win!
I would love one with a cupcake on it. I was given the nickname of “cupcake” about 15 years ago while playing softball for a church league. My parents owned a bakery when I was growing up and a friend on the team started calling me that and it stuck…LOL
I love your carrot apron. I would love to see a cantaloupe on an apron or anything with cantaloupe or watermelon. My family raised them on our farm when I was a child so they have a special place in my heart.
I would love to see hydrageas on an apron. I love your paintings!
please, please take my comment!!! I want one of those aprons – it just beautiful!
Jenna, the apron is tooo cute! You are so talented! I love the whimsical vibe of your ‘scape…and wherever did you get that beautiful table!!? I love the soft washed color, it’s gorgeous! I’d love a violin, cello, or music notes on an apron, and my favorite thing to do with carrots is eat them raw, probably with too much ranch dressing for my own good, haha.
I WANT that beautiful Apron!!!
I would love to see honeybees and beehives, butterflies, or hummingbirds!
I love your tablescape. So bright and cherry. Loving all your details. I have also done a similar theme that I will be posting next week. Your painting is stunning. You are one talented person.
I would love anything you painted on an apron…so much talent, my friend! Love the centerpiece, and why should we put away bunnies after Easter. I have two huge ones that visit our pasture every afternoon!
You are so creative Jenna. I love your fun and pretty crafts and it’s such a great idea to create painted aprons!
What a cute idea Jenna using the carrots for your centerpiece. The apron is spring perfect. Love the watercolors, so pretty. You are sure a busy girl and everything is always picture perfect.
We are getting slammed now with storms, it’s headed your way……..
You are an amazing artist. Such beautiful paintings. My favorite is the herbs. My favorite way to have carrots is just plain old roasted carrots – either in a roast or roasted with other veggies. Thanks for all the beauty.
I’m in awe of such talent…so pretty. I love those radishes those would be so nice on an apron or table runner. I would like just about anything you would make although I’ll a little partial to cows. I love a new apron for my new house.
I would love a painted apron with ELEPHANTS — for Bama of course!!
HA HA! Of course! Will do to kick off football season this fall!!
Your art is amazing, i would love a painted apron. Please put my name in the hat for the giveaway.
Thanks!
Congrats Mary L, you won the apron!! Please leave a comment on today’s post so I can contact you about shipping information
You’re carrot apron is soo cute. Since my kitchen is in red with strawberries, I would love to see strawberries painted on an apron!
Darling apron! Sunflowers brighten my day and would be cute on an apron.
So much talent here between the food, the tablescapes, and the art! I love the carrots. All fruits and veggies are beautiful but I especially like radishes for some reason. Those beautiful little reddish orbs just look like art to me.
Thanks Stacey, radishes are one of my favorite things to paint-
Jenna, you do the most creative centerpieces…it must be your amazing artist’s eye that can visualize what an end product is going to look like before you even put it together. That centerpiece is awesome…
I love that apron!
Have a great week.
What a fun idea! I would love to have anything you paint. I think I’d have to choose herbs at the moment since I’m trying to get motivated to start some herb seedlings. 🙂
You are very talented! My suggestion for another painted apron is your watercolor of the scrumptious cupcake with the cherry on top.
Jenna, you make painting so easy – I think I could even paint a carrot or two. I love carrot cake with alot of cream cheese icing. I’d love to see some beach themed aprons too, if possible. Maybe a cute little crab. Love your blog.
Your sketches are beautiful! I bought carrots with tops and had planned to use them on my Easter dessert table. It was packed with so many other things I never got to use them. Thank you for the reminder that all is not lost! Thank you also for linking up with us at Celebrate Your Story. Have a fun week!
So much talent in those fingers of yours – shoot, I can barely draw a decent circle! I’ve used carrots in many a tablescape but my favorite thing to do with them is eat them straightaway from the garden. So yummy! All of your designs are beautiful and I’d be happy to have any of them but if I had to choose, I think I’d pick a repeat of your tomato design. Thanks for the opportunity!
All of your apron ideas are beautiful! A big fat pumpkin would be great!!!
Oh everything is so cute!
Thanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
thank you Jess! >
