I have great luck with bromeliads, I can keep one on my beach house porch for months where it thrives in the light,  humidity and rain showers

Jenna, Olé, caliente, agua, and gracias are about the extent of my Spanish vocabulary! Love your Jardín Mexicano table! Your runner is great fun and inspiration for a Cinco de Mayo with your golds, oranges, and bowl of peppers and flowers! I’m really wishing all these celebrations were not on the heels of one another with Cinco de Mayo, Derby and Mother’s Day within a week…I’ll barely be done with my margarita before reaching for my Mint Julep and Mother’s Day Mimosa which is my hubby’s family tradition celebrating with my MIL 😉

  2. So fun, cheerful, pretty and festive. I love it!

  3. Jemma says:

This is so pretty! I truly love the theme and oh the colors are just so bright, festive and cheery.
I feel as though I took a little trip out of the country!
Thank you for this pretty tablescape and for sharing it with us at TOHOT!

Fiesta!! I love this Jenna. You amaze me!

    Happy TOHOT. 🙂

  5. Jenna, you have put together an explosion of color, which I absolutely love! I always enjoy when you add your rhyming commentary, so talented! You definitely hit a home run with this festive setting!

  6. Marigene says:

Thank you, you have a beautiful Mexican garden. Oh, this is my kind of table, lots of big bold colors! The flowers are gorgeous and I love the pitcher…did you do the painting on it? The wine goblets are cute, too. I wish I had your artist’s eye when it comes to putting things together…
    Have a great day, Jenna.

    • Thanks Marigene, my color loving friend! I painted the pitcher and goblets, a while back. I don’t have a source for those tilted pitchers anymore but I sold a boat load of them when my glass painting business was in full swing. You definitely do have an artist’s eye for tablescaping- >

  7. Emily says:

Oh this is gorgeous whatever you call it Jenna! I love the bright colors and love Mexican food for the most part, just not to spicy. Love the dishes and the table is perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo! Now, what can I make for dinner to satisfy this craving I have?
The rain is almost here so you’ll see it soon……….

  8. Lynn says:

Absolutely lovin’ your colorful word dish towel Jenna! That would be a very fun addition to anyone’s Cinco de Mayo party-enjoy:@)

  9. Kitty says:

I especially loved your poem, Jenna! I want to come to your house for Cinco de Mayo!

  10. Oh how fun and colorful! I’m glad you reminded me that it’s coming. I love how you used all the colorful dishes along with the bright colored peppers and flowers. My Spanish is not so good but we do like to visit a local Mexcian restaurant and Cinco de Mayo is always fun to celebrate there!

  11. A truly festive table. What an absolute delight this post is!!! Thank you so very much for joining the gathering at Thoughts of Home on Thursday.

  12. Laura says:

Living in South Texas on the border of Mexico- I love anything Mexican in my garden and on my table.
    I love yours!
Thank you for sharing this at TOHOT!

  13. Linda says:

Very festive and fun Jenna. Love all of the colors and you cute accessories. My Spanish is so so…Thanks for sharing at DI&DI.

  14. Kim says:

How fun, Jenna! I always skip over to Mother’s Day, and your table prompts me to back up a bit. Your colors are so vibrant and exciting, creating a very inspiring table! Love your rhyming again, too. 🙂

  15. Kim says:

Jenna, I love love this tablescape – the bright reds, yellows, oranges, and greens are so eye-catching! The flowers are gorgeous as is the stemware. And I love the table runner – if that’s what it is – doesn’t really matter because it looks perfect on the table! What fun it must have been to set such a colorful table!
