Last summer we painted watermelons

Let’s paint some watermelon chargers

$2 white chargers from Hobby Lobby

A lazy susan is great for painting dishware, spin and go

A mix of pink and red makes a pretty watermelon color

Yellow and green for the rind

Put the paint in a small well next to each other and let it blend on your brush.  Use a flat square brush and make short overlapping strokes all around the edge

When pink is dry

Add some seeds with short black random strokes

    • hi Judy, No I didn’t paint the trays, I got them several years ago at Old Time Pottery and the bowls I’ve had forever, sorry! I have seen a bunch of watermelon stuff at Christmas Tree Shoppe, so try there if you have near you, or just paint your own! >
