The perfect summer treat!

inside out berry pie

I call it inside out pie because instead of making a cookie crumb crust and filling it with the whipped cream mixture, I just tossed everything together, a perfect 5 Minute Prep recipe for lazy summer days!

INSIDE OUT BERRY PIE

Prep Time 10 minutes
Freeze 4 hours
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 8

Ingredients

  • 8 oz bag mini oreo cookies*
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen berries {I used raspberries and blueberries} plus a few extra for garnishing
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
  • juice from 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  • Fold sweetened condensed milk into Cool Whip and mix.
  • Add berries and lemon juice. Add cookies and mix again.
  • Put mixture into a dish or pan and cover tightly. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Let sit out a few minutes to soften before serving. Scoop out into bowls like ice cream.

Notes

*use as many cookies as you like, I used about 3/4 bag
Keyword blueberries, frozen dessert, ice cream pie, Oreo pie, strawberries, summer dessert
