Creations, Fall Craft Round-up

Are you thinking Fall….🍂
After this HOT summer, everyone is already wishing for cooler temps and falling leaves…
I’ve been browsing Pinterest and my favorite stores for ideas and inspirations
I found the pumpkin dinner plates below on sale from Pottery Barn, and with free ship I couldn’t resist…they are labeled dinner plates on the website, but they aren’t!!!
When the box arrived I knew it looked too small, and sure enough, the plates were packed in a box labeled salad/appetizer plates…I checked my order to see if I’d made a mistake, but nope.
I am so 😡!!! What is up PB???
They are going back but…
These watercolor pumpkins have inspired other creations. I just may have to paint my own plates, napkins, glasses, even an apron for a giveaway so stay tuned…
In the meantime I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fall crafts in case you want to get started on fall projects and inspirations too~
Alabama Football Tree Halloween Tree Ole Miss/Au tree
Fall Napkin Ties are made with non breakable owl ornaments from Hobby Lobby
I know we are all ready for a little fall!
Thanks for visiting today!

[…] Jenna is doing her best to put us in an autumn state of mind and provided us in with lots of fall inspiration with this great round-up, and those Pottery Barn plates are pretty darn cute. […]
NO, I can’t believe we are half into August with fall rushing up to greet us! Connor is already in school and this hot weather it is impossible for me to get into the fall mood. But, Jenna I know where to come for inspiration! The ghosts are adorable and I really like your pumpkins. I love those PB plates but they sure made a mistake with the size. I’m sure you can paint your own and they will be gorgeous…………
Thanks Emily! I can’t believe kids are back in school, I swear it seems earlier every year! I am going to return the plates I think, and look around for something else…I really wanted something with white pumpkins or washed out colors for the beach house-let me know if you see anything >
Reblogged this on Good Witches Homestead.
Jenna, I saw the PB plates and loved them, too bad they sent salad plates! Love your autumn inspiration…it won’t be long and it is my favorite season! Happy Wednesday!
I know, and I don’t think they even come in dinner size 🙁 I look forward to seeing what you do in your beautiful garden for fall! >
Thanks for sharing some super cute, creative fall pretties! Great inspiration! I am so ready for fall! Love the plates! But what a shame they sent the wrong size! Can’t wait to see what you create new for fall 2016! I know it’ll be fabulous! 🙂 ~Rhonda
Aren’t you sweet, and I bet you’ll be coming up with something fabulous too! >
I loved those PB plates when I saw them too Jenna, too bad about the sizing! I’m ready for all things fall with this summer heat! Our lake water temperature is 92 degrees, not exactly refreshing to take a dip in and cool off. Bring on the fall inspiration…I’ve already been cackling with the anticipation of Halloween )
Jenna, Those plates are so fabulous you might need to keep them, although if you can paint your own (I can’t even imagine doing that myself! 🙂 ) you should! I’m usually not ready for fall this early but after the recent horrific heat and humidity I say bring it on now! Yes, please, another apron giveaway! 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you create! Stay cool if you can! Linda
Oh no Jenna you’re pulling me in!!!
It’s honestly so encouraging to see a Fall post. As much as I love summer, it’s time to move on!
Dinner plates or not, those are some smack-down gorgeous plates! It’s the principle of the thing, isn’t it? Can you call them and ask for a refund since your order was for the dinners? I detest returning things by mail. Maybe you don’t, so your decision – especially since you ARE the I-can-paint-my-own-plates-thank-you queen. Love your fall inspirations!
I have a PB near me in Birmingham and I’ll be there next week so it’s no big deal. I was just really disappointed because it clearly states dinner plates on the website. They are really cute, but I don’t really want this size, but still debating 🙂 >
I am so glad you mentioned the pumpkin plates from PB. I have been debating getting them and now I won’t😒 Love the print but they did say dinner not salad. Sorry for your hassle.
Thanks Kathie, I checked and rechecked thinking I made a mistake, but the website clearly says dinner plate. They are really pretty but so little, and for $10 a plate not a very good deal- luckily I have a PB near me so I don’t have to pay to ship them back 🙂
Your Hobby Lobby (wish there was one here) Owl ornaments are really cute Jenna! And yeeesssss, I’m ready for fall. Bring it on:@)
fall idea lovely, Halloween bah humbug! can’t stand witches!
I don’t like the gruesome side of Halloween either, only cute sweet witches, friendly ghosts, and non scary pumpkins 🙂 >
Glorious fall!! I can just imagine you painting your own beautiful pumpkin water color plates Jenna. Can’t wait to see what you do. 😎
Lots of fun here, Jenna! I’ve had my glue gun out today, too!
That is so frustrating when an order isn’t correct.
Those plates are wonderful.
You are so clever- you will figure out even more projects than you showed us.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks Laura, yes, now I feel challenged 🙂 >
Love the fabric pumpkins! Thanks for sharing your round up with us at Creatively Crafty #ccbg 🙂
Thanks Lydia, they are easy to do- >
I am SO READY for fall. This summer has been most annoying with the relentless heat and high humidity. Thanks for the great autumn-inspired eye candy.
I am so loving those pumpkin placemats and the fall decor on the table. Lovely look and so happy you shared at Dishing it and Digging it link party. We love having you.
Had that plate problem last year on Thanksgiving day! Went to put them on the table and found that they were way too small for Thanksgiving dinner. Had bought the tablecloth and napkins to boot and was a bit put out to have to rustle up a whole new table setting at my daughter-in-law’s house. Called Pottery Barn so they knew about it last yaer as well as probably this year. Very unusual as I usually have really good service with them.
I keep thinking I will keep them, but every time I get them out, they are too small even for lunch!! Not worth $40! I am going to express myself when I take them back this week 🙂 I would have been really mad if I discovered it at the last minute, you poor thing!
Jenna, I love everything! I put my skinny Christmas tree up in October and start decorating. After seeing the Bama tree I may need to drag it out this weekend and decorate for football season kick off that just a few days away, I’ll be pinning your great creations tonight.
Catherine
Jenna, I love everything! I’ll be pinning away tonight! That Bama tree really inspires me to get my tree out in Sept. for football season. I normally bring it out in October for Halloween and Fall, but the Bama decor is fabulous!
Catherine
Thanks Catherine! Yep, time to think football!!
Great roundup of ideas and I love the pumpkin plates!
Thanks Carol! >

Hello Jenna,
I love your fall round up! Thanks for the inspiration. Thanks for sharing at Cooking and Crafting with J&J.
Enjoy the week.
Julie
Thanks Julie! >
oh my gosh…so many cute things.
Thank you Sheila! >
So many creative ideas! BTW, I always buy the luncheon size plates for holiday because I can put my favorite patterned or solid dish beneath as a border and it is less expensive to have 8 – 12 luncheon size than a whole set of dinner size…just my thoughts about your accidental order.
Thanks Debbie, that is a great idea and I thought about doing that, but these plates are really small, not even big enough for a sandwich! Bummer!
Love all of your fall craft ideas – especially the pumpkins out of the different fabrics!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for visiting Lanita!
