Prayers today on this very solemn anniversary of 9/11 🙏
HH retired recently and we are spending most of our time on the coast
I thought it would be hard to enjoy fall decorating in a beach atmosphere, but I have been having a lot of fun with the challenge, creating Signs of Fall in the Air
This metal owl hitched a ride back with me the last time I went home, he was tired of the Crazy Daisy Wreath and wanted to experience sea breezes
He is currently standing proudly over the tiered tray which is serving as a snack station on the kitchen island
See his little buddy, the owl Indian?
During busy summer months this basket style tiered tray is where we keep an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruit used for feeding the hungry masses family and friends
This week it is anchoring a serve yourself snack station, sort of a Fall Hospitality Buffet
One of my California BILs and his son are here for a visit this week, a spur of the moment bachelor trip
Since Alabama recently trounced his alma mater USC, I’m going to try to make amends with lots of goodies
The stand holds jars of nuts, snack mix, cookies, crackers and chocolates
Hungry guy heaven…
There are even some pumpkins and footballs for a nod to the season 🏈
There’s an array of things to choose from
With plates and glasses ready for grabbing
English muffins under the dome are ready for breakfast toasting
The last of summer peaches and plums fill an oversized martini glass
Everything’s visible and within easy reach
The fish bowl is full of protein bars and grab and go snacks
Kind bars, cashew packs, and peanut butter sandwich crackers are perfect to pocket for those morning fishing trips
Nothing like a little taste of fall at the beach!
If you’re interested in a chance to win the hand painted pumpkin table runner shown above, you can see the details here

How fun, I love the fish bowl Jenna:@) Congrats to HH-Happy Fishing!
What a great snack buffet! I love serving buffet-style, and that’s perfect for informal, drop-in get-togethers, especially during football season. Cute displays pieces, Jenna.
Jenna, You’ve rolled out the aqua carpet with a sea of snacks for your fall hospitality buffet! I love your assortment of goodies and the pretty contrast of orange leaves and painted pumpkins and palm trees for your beach side fall dining!
P.S. I’m not sure there’s enough snacks in the sea to make up for the bone crushing loss of USC 🙂
what an amazing snack station! You are sure the hostess with the mostest! LOVE that OWL!!!!! If you ever get tired of it…. I’m just sayin’ LOL! 🙂
This is an amazing snack station! Love the tiered basket tray…the oversized martini glass is perfect for fruit. The fish bowl is just the thing for a waterside setting. You always have such good ideas!
What a Lovely Table. Sending Peace and Love to the World Today. http://doodlet.me/
What a lovely hostess you are! I would feel so welcomed and loved to come and enjoy something like this. The pumpkin pillows are a darling fall touch. Jealous of your time away at the beach. How fun for you! Seems like we are always running back for work and church and kids! I can’t imagine how wonderful an extended stay would be.
It always makes you stop and think on a day like today, doesn’t it! I am so grateful for our country, and so sad for those who were taken so early!
What an incredible hostess you are, Jenna! Everything is easy and delicious. My kind of cooking!!!
So lovely and cute!!! So many clever ideas for that buffet!!
Jenna, no wonder you have so many guests…you entertain in style and hospitality! What a wonderful snack station you have amassed. The two guys may decide to stay, but they may feel that they are in hostile territory in Tide Country! Love this clever idea for keeping your masses happy and fed!
What a great stand Jenna. I love how you use it for a snack station, great idea! The color is fabulous, especially at the beach. All your stems and plates sure adds a special flair. Hope you BIL survived the game score. Some of us here when to the game, to hot for me at 101 degrees……..
Have a great week.
Thank you! I hope the heat breaks soon! Definitely too hot to sit at a football game!
The way you entertain it’s a wonder your house is not full of house guests all the time. What a spread of goodies!
Love your decorating and cooking skills.
ha, thanks Bonnie, we do have a lot of visitors 🙂 >
Love love LOVE the color scheme for this tablescape! Its my favorite (any turquoise hue, actually). And I like that your layout coordinated with your walls. 🙂 The little owls playing peek-a-boo around the snacks are a fun touch!
Hi Jenna, ohh I luv the little owl, I have a crush on owls!!! Super colors on the tablescape!!!
I want to be a guest at your house!
Jenna, your snack presentation and outdoor Fall dining are great. Love the mix of turquoise and orange. Great way to bring Fall to the beach. I don’t know why I never realized you were in Orange Beach. Since our children were young, we’ve been going to Perdido Key. We go to church services at the Florabama lounge when we’re there. Next time, I’ll have to look you up..
Thanks Laurie, I could tell from your photos you were close by! I haven’t experienced church at the Bama yet, but I heard it’s actually very good- you ought to plan a visit in the fall, October is especially beautiful- >
Well, you certainly kicked a field goal here! So much fall inspiration at the beech. The tiered baskets are so useful and pretty at the same time. Wonderful snacks! Congrats to your HH on his retirement. That’s awesome!
thank you Kim! >
The owl and Indian in the beautiful aqua tier basket just made me smile! Love them! Your fall buffet layout is lovely and inviting! Congrats on HH’s retirement! Enjoy your time on the coast! 🙂 ~Rhonda
Fabulous decor! All of it is just gorgeous!! Awesome job!

Your snack buffet looks delicious. What a great way to host a crowd.
Very cute! Great idea for the mason jars to keep the snacks fresh!
Thanks Lynn, things really do stay fresh for a long time in jars
Oh you are speaking my aqua love language! What a wonderful tiered tray. Thank you so very much for sharing this gem.
What a GREAT display. I was ogling everything. I love those metal three-tier stands and mason jars, and the way you put this together is marvelous. I also lust after all of your painted goodies, the cake dome with the palm trees in particular. Great collection of items here, and seeing it was a fun way to start my day.
Thank you Pattie, our guest have been loving all the goodies right at their finger tips >
