Holidays, Pumpkin Turkey and things to do in November

Well, the absolutely first thing to do in November, especially since you have an extra whole hour,  is to make a pumpkin turkey!

This turkey was inspired by the talented Mary at Home is Where the Boat is…when I saw her owl pumpkin creations, I couldn’t stand it they are so cute!!!

There aren’t many any pinecones to forage around here, but I did have some gold magnolia leaves and feathers I used for a coastal Thanksgiving last year

Back to the drawing board…

“How about now, with conch shell eyes and a wattle?”

  7. Jenna, I was amazed by Mary’s pumpkins and your tur-pump-key is adorable too! Both of you are so creative and entertaining. I am familiar with the hubby-speak. I am now training mine to be careful of his comments. But I am sure your hubby loves and appreciates all the things you create and serve! Linda
