Creations, Citrus Tags and a Gift Basket

I am focusing on citrus this month, and thought I would try citrus stamping

How hard could it be?

Harder than it looks!

I quit trying pretty quickly because painting citrus is easy peasy

I shared a tutorial for painting watermelon, lemons and limes a couple of years ago here

A couple of strokes and voilà…

Tip: mix a little of the rind color into the white for the flesh of the fruit

I made some place cards for the Citrus Explosion table

And a gift basket tag

Add a special message

And tie it on a special gift

Who wouldn’t want a basket of these beauties?

And tuck in some fresh flowers

This will spread warmth and sunshine on the coldest of days!

Love your bright citrus explosion and cheery gift tags Jenna! I think the last stamping I tried to do was with a carved design in potato in elementary school 🙂
