Party Panache, It’s a Wrap!

For Super Bowl Sunday I wanted to do a lettuce wrap bar
I could picture everything clearly in my mind…
Indulgent yet healthy, with 3-4 kinds of fillings, and several kinds of large lettuce leaves,
Even grilled romaine
Of course you can provide tortillas too
You can offer hot or cold fillings
Cold fillings
Asian Chicken with cashews and cucumber
Pimento Cheese. maybe with some crispy bacon
Spring Roll Wraps with Sweet Chili Paste
Pulled Pork with Roasted Veggie Salsa
Endless possibilities!
What a party this would be!! 🎉
BUT…
It was just HH and me…
So we scaled it back to a table for 2 in front of the TV
And we had Asian Glazed BBQ Ribs with salad and Cheesy Chive Potato Crowns
And it was fun…
BUT! You can be sure the next time I have a party,
It’s going to be a wrap!
Now, don’t you want to have a party?

[…] I also had an idea for an International Lettuce Wrap Bar […]
Jenna, you had me at pimento cheese…that would be the perfect party – a wrap party! No partying this whole 30 month for us! Happy Sunday!
LOVE wraps! fun idea!
What fun food, Jenna! We also watched the Superbowl at home, just the two of us. Sometimes it’s nice not to make a big to-do! 🙂
I’ve never met a wrap that I didn’t love. Great idea!
I’d never be able to choose between all the delicious looking toppings! I’d start with the big bowl of potato chips and then think about it for a while!
haha, me too, it’s much easier to throw a virtual party than a real one 🙂 >
I love the idea of a wrap bar Jenna! You had such a grown up meal for the Super Bowl while we ate high calorie football food 🙂
Yes, you’ve convinced me. Party time!!
What a great idea for party food!….We usually go to a Super Bowl party every year, but we decided to stay home this year and enjoyed my chili and a great game!
