Welcome Spring!
So many of us have had an early taste of Spring, and in the South, we have enjoyed many days stolen from summer
February was an indulgent month around the Painted Apron, with the Raspberry flavor of the month winding it’s way into so many sweet and savory treats…
Instead of a flavor of the month for March, it’s going to be a a color
Green fearturing lots of fresh produce, low fat and cleaner eating

Some great green inspiration recipes!! 💚
Wow you have been a busy one! Everything you made looks so delicious.
Jenna, your February recipes with all their decadence was tough to see and read while being on the Whole 30 plan, but I survived all the glorious photos. I am excited about the Grand Hotel Bread pudding recipe…Happy Thursday!
Not really one of the lean and clean recipes, but I am hoping to find an excuse to make it! >
So much good stuff here Jenna and I LOVE the painting at the top!
Thanks Chris, you are always an inspiration, you cook so many wonderful yet healthy things! >
I printed out those potato crowns and now I have to find the recipe! At least I know where to go to find it it doesn’t turn up in my piles of stuff. and your poppies are lovely!
Thanks Jeanie! The potato crowns are so good and so easy! >
Yum, when’s your next gathering, I want to sample some of this food!
We are always cooking around here, luckily I have lots of chefs 🙂 >
Bread pudding with a side salad, please!
I actually made a baked chicken with cherry sauce, so I’ll be eager to see how you make yours! Sounds delicious!
My husband makes the most wonderful cherry sauce which didn’t appeal to me until I tasted it on the tip of my finger, I can’t wait for him to make it for grilled chicken, sort of like dessert for dinner! >
I so enjoy seeing all your paintings here and on IG! And, this recipe review is wonderful
Thanks Kim! >
I enjoy so much seeing your paintings here and on IG! Love the food inspirations, too. Happy Thursday!
I need to read you posts after I have eaten. I am very hungry. Thanks for inspiration. Love the idea of low fat recipes and cleaner eating recipes.
Thanks Bonnie, we have been indulgent around here lately, time to get lean and mean 🙂 >
Grilled lemon garlic zucchini sounds really good! Or maybe just grilling out sounds really good right about now:@)
Jenna, I agree with Lynn about the lemon garlic zucchini…It makes me feel a little less guilty about indulging in the Bundt cake 🙂
One thing about it, you and your family certainly do eat wonderful dishes…not only good but many as so creative and different.
Thanks Karen, my group loves to cook! >
Jenna,
