Tablescapes, Have your Centerpiece & eat it too!

With nothing particular in mind, I hit the produce dept of my regular grocery store and loaded my cart with favorites and freshest…

Fat rosy radishes, a giant cabbage, a big artichoke, parsley, asparagus, bright orange carrots, along with simple white tulips, orange tipped spray roses, and a pot of mint

A ruffled garden cloth, cabbage leaf mats and a carrot basket

A simple asparagus fashioned vase

Let the fun begin!

Now eat your veggies!

  1. Well how creative is all this- a true feast for the eyes! I like how the parsley looks mixed with the other veges! I was thinking how my daughter’s bunny would have a field day on that table! Love the asparagus wrapped vase with the orange roses and the adorable cabbage leaf pitcher.

  2. How lush! I don’t think I’ve ever seen radishes so big, Jenna. You have some great ideas there/

    • I know I was amazed at the difference a few weeks make in the produce dept., 3 weeks ago I couldn’t find an artichoke anywhere, and now they are huge, and I agree, I’ve never seen such big radishes!

  3. Oh Jenna, how I love your edible centerpiece. I have been thinking about making asparagus vases for fresh flowers. I agree with Rita, the radishes are huge! You are so inspiring with all of your talent! Happy Thursday!

  6. It’s so magical! I love the use of the lettuce and the sweet bunny. So pretty!

  7. So cute! If you set your asparagus vase in a saucer of water, the asparagus will stay fresh too. I usually cut off the bottom half inch and store them in mason jars with water in the frig. Very interesting centerpiece!

This is wonderful, Jenna. I spy a couple of things I’ll be using in a tablescape very soon. I hope I can do it as much justice as you did! 🙂
