A tropical table with pescado
Pescado is Spanish for fish, just so you know…
A beautiful day for lunch in the sparkling sunshine
The table was set with fish plates and bubbly glasses for wine
Chunky fish boards anchor the plate stack
Topped with a striped plate,
A shallow fish bowl,
with a smaller fish inside that…
We had a nice quiet lunch in mind,
with no interruptions… the relaxing kind
A beautiful table with a fabulous view
And a lovely luncheon salad at this table for two
Wait, just a minute, now what was that?
That sawing noise and then a big whack?
What is that moving over there in that tree??
Why it’s larger than life, it’s a hunky monkey!!
This tarzan of a man magically walked up the tree,
He casually hung there, trimmed the dead fronds and gazed out at the sea
So our luncheon was highlighted with our very own show
Of a man and a chain saw using a rope tow
It was quite an entertaining sight to see
Our lovely luncheon and a hunky monkey
You never know what you will see when you sit on the porch and look out to the sea…

I would gladly invite that hunk of a guy on over for a cocktail!!! Wow! And he was wearing an EAGLES shirt to boot!!!!! HUBBA HUBBA!!! (I get that I am being MUCH more crude about my enthusiasm for the fellow than my esteemed friend, Johanne!)
You really live the life there with the water at a stone’s toss! Your table settings always reflect the beauty of the nature that surrounds you. This one is no different…it’s relaxing and pretty…and perfect for a hunk to join!!!!! 🙂

oh you lucky lucky girl!!!! so jealous – my lunch was a bag of steamed veggies in the microwave while working on my laptop and in a sweatshirt because it is cold and raining! But tomorrow is grandma day so I’m smiling anyway!! 🙂
