It is hard to imagine this view we enjoyed just a few days ago, as we are being pounded by Tropical Storm Cindy on the Gulf Coast today
Let’s enjoy this other beautiful day as we’re wishing the rain, rain, would go away
Simply set, this table for two
Has a beautiful backdrop of shades of blue
Favorite seashells fill a large painted glass
I’ve always loved seashells, in case you wanted to ask
Corals and aquas and shells everywhere
There’s even a starfish pillow in the chair over there
Paper napkins are held tightly by a crabby clothespin
Shell forks, plates and platters, and a fish looking for a swim

Large platters for chargers will serve you well
They’re handy to hold all the discarded seafood shells
Such a fine place to dine

Jenna, I hope you are safe and the flooding doesn’t affect your lovely home. It is raining here, they say possibly 3-5 inches. Nothing compared to you at the beach. The table is so pretty with its peachy and blue colors and spotlighting shells which I love. I imagine your view today doesn’t resemble that gorgeous day a few days ago!
I think the worst is over, we seem to be in a clear path now as the storm heads north on both sides of us. Last night the wind was scary, and the water was over the pier, but no damage…we’ve been cozied up kind of like snow days! Hoping the sun and view will return tomorrow, stay safe up there! >
Jenna, what an adorable tablescape. I love the sea shells. Praying for you area about this storm. My oldest daughter and family had plans to travel this weekend to Louisiana but they are now watching the weather. In my neck of the woods we are getting rain daily. For months we prayed so hard for rain and now we are getting a lot of it and I have myself asking the Lord to let it slow down a tad. Hope you have a good day and be safe. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Yes, it is a beautiful view Jenna. I love the compote full of sea shells and the scape is gorgeous. Those sunny days at the beach, just nothing like it! It is raining almost not stop here so if you were in Bham you would be getting rain too. The forecast says rain through Friday………..
The funny part about our two houses is that even if we stay north to avoid these tropical storms we will eventually get it anyway!! Things are calming down now, I hope you don’t have flooding or damage… >
