Holidays, Happy 4th!
Our community annual 4th of July parade was on July 1 this year, and the parade route start is only a block away from our house, so vehicles lined up out front before it started
All types of open vehicles, golf carts, convertibles, antique cars, decorated with flags and red white & blue
Our gang decorated their bikes and a wagon to go to the parade in style
And they’re off
DD & HH took the littles while their Dads were out fishing
It was about a thousand degrees 😅 so I opted to photograph from the shade of the porch
I zoomed in on these girls who were getting beads and other treasures ready for tossing to the crowd
Our “firecrackers” were ready to catch the loot

Jenna, how fun for everyone to go all out with red, white and blue, Those little bikes and wagons are so cute and the kiddos, darling! I’m with you, I would be in the shade too. Nothing worse than Tuscaloosa’s humidity unless it’s at the beach! Happy 4th sweet friend…….

Hooray! Nice! Ours was cancelled this morning because of a steady downpour that is expected to continue throughout the morning. Lots of disappointed kids and parents. 😞 I’m sure they’ll make up for it next year!
