Tablescapes, Sand Dollars and Starfish

A parade of boats is a common sight
from our back porch, day or night…
Southern sea breezes make it nice to dine
and we linger here most all the time
Seahorses, starfish and a beachy bottle with glass
Are part of the view as we watch the boats pass
Lots of sparkle in the summer sun
A sand dollar bottle, just for fun
Napkins tied with shells and twine
And shell covered forks and goblets for wine
Coconuts fill up the boat
With more large shells and a blue glass float
Our friend Freddy the blue heron, loves the porch too
Do you think he likes the view too?
But if we come outside, he’ll fly off into the blue…
I hope you have a breezy day!
Juicy Details

ok, can’t take my eyes off those starfish plates and the beachy bottle. I enjoyed my virtual visit.
thank you, there is something about sparkling glass that is magical… >
I would linger there, too. So beautiful. Love this tablescape.
Love the starfish plates and fun beach bottle! May have to make those forks to go with my shell chargers. Thanks!
have fun!
Awe, look at you using your pretty bottles! Love it all! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Love all of these colors, especially with the blue waters you get to see daily!! I could sit there all day and watch the boats go by!
thanks Patti, I pretty much live on the porch when I’m there~
Love Freddy in person and in paint! Regal. Inviting table and view and the bottle looks fabulous in the decor.

Falling in love with your heron! He’s gorgeous — both real and painted! And the colors and setting of your table are my favorites. Love that turquoise. Thanks for many fun links, too!
Jenna, your sand dollar bottle makes a beautiful appearance on this beach Tablescape! If I lived there, I would stay at this table and never move. Love the runner and everything about this table! Freddy is a nice visitor, I really like how you captured him!
Freddy is majestic, but frightens me! We just bought a house with a pool, so I’ll need to step up my beachy-tropical accessories like you!
Oh congrats! You will have so much fun!! Freddy is kind of scary but very skiddish! He takes off immediately when he hears anything. My husband actually took this photo through the window, zooming in with his iPhone 7 then I edited it a little…I love to watch him, he’s really a character! Happy swimming! >
What an amazing tablescape and view! Wow, you are lucky. We have a heron who visits our creek and when he takes off his wing span amazes me and scares the heck out of the dog. 🙂
haha, that’s hilarious!! The herons do love to squawk!
What a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. I love the colors of this seascape tablescape. We have a blue heron pair that hang around the riverbank…..not too pretty when they mess – ewww!
well, there is that….
Did you paint the blue heron or is that waterlogue? LOVE it!!!!
waterlogue, technical filter, I’ll leave the animals and bird paintings to you Jodi! >
oh I love how it did it!
Jenna,
Your sea-inspired table setting is so inviting. I would have a hard time ever going inside.
Judith
Thank you Judith, I pretty much live on the porch all summer! >
Jenna, I love your soothing aqua and sparkling blue seaside table! We have a blue heron that fishes from our dock everyday about 5 pm…it drives Chloe nuts when she sees him 🙂
ha, I bet! Freddy gets mad when the kiddos are running around and he can’t drink from the pool and nap on the boats because there’s too much activity so he just flies by and squawks at everyone 🙂
Oh goodness, I love the starfish and the scape. Your view from your deck is awesome! Love the shell flatware. You have a beautiful beach home Jenna…………
Thank you Emily, come visit! >
This decor is so much fun! I drool over anything beach themed
