Recipe Box, Nutty Naan with Brie, Fig & Prosciutto

There are so many ways to describe this “pizza” I am not even going to mention that it’s super fast and easy

It’s Fruity

It’s Nutty

It’s Cheesy

It’s Savory

It’s Slightly Sweet

It can be made Big or Small

It can serve One or Many

It can work for Lunch or Dinner, Brunch or a Party

It can be Changed any way you like, change the jam, change the cheese, change the nuts, skip the meat

See? I didn’t even mention fast and easy!

Nutty Naan with Brie, Fig & Prosciutto

Ingredients

  • Naan bread OR baked pizza crust, toasted french bread
  • Fig jam
  • Walnuts coarsely chopped
  • Pistachio nuts shelled
  • Brie cheese cut into thick slices, with or without rind
  • Prosciutto
  • grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Spread a layer of jam on the naan. Sprinkle with nuts. Top with Brie. Top with Prosciutto. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden and melted.

Naan bread is great for any open face sandwich or pizza

I used the mini Stonefire Naan  for these pizzas, which are 150 calories each.  With 1 oz. of cheese, a sprinkle of nuts, jam and prosciutto these individual naans were only about 350 calories each

You had me a fig jam Jenna! All favorite ingredients of ours too, although my hubby is less of a walnut fan than I am.. Do you ever use Dalmatia Fig Spread? It makes all others pale in comparison 🙂
