Home Decor, Finally Fall!
I think we are all having fun welcoming fall this year, and even if cooler temps haven’t arrived where you are, pulling out pumpkins and all things autumn makes us at least pretend to feel cooler
Last week I was able to do a little fall-i-fying…

We don’t have pretty fall leaves on the ground yet, just these dried up brown things that simply gave up from the summer heat…😅
I usually change what’s hanging over the mantel seasonally, and do something different every year
But I love my newest painting, Summer Burst and wanted to see if I could make it work
Nothing that a few pumpkins couldn’t fix!

And more faux pumpkins were added to the mix
I rely on faux things and sturdy things like pumpkins and gourds
Since I am back and forthing a lot, I can’t tend to plants and blooms in the fall when the sprinkler system is off
This is the beginning of the thankful season
We are so thankful our little piece of the coast wasn’t impacted this devastating hurricane season
Fall at the beach requires a little imagination
A paint brush
a free spirit
and fabric can go along way
Throw in football season and game day, and you really have to get creative!
Big game this weekend with our BFFs from Ole Miss
We’re going to be Rolling with the Tide
and making some Mississippi Mud!

You are certainly ready to welcome fall (now, if only it would cool down a bit!!) I am anxious to wear jeans and sweatshirts! LOVE your double door to the side room with the curved tops – so unique!
Oh Jenna, I love the two different looks — cottage and home. And it all works so well your own painted accessories. The painting on the mantle looks great with the wee pumps (I love using those!) and so, too, do your arrangements. I go faux inside most of the time, too. More reliable and I can leave it up longer! Very much getting me in the mood. I wasn’t going to do pumpkins till October 1 but I may relent by a few days!

I love the latest version of your foyer centerpiece, Jenna. That new thankful pillow sure is cute too. With your artistry, I would imagine it’s really hard to decide which pieces to pull out and put away each season. Throw in a love of dishes and back and forthing between two homes, and that would almost do me in as far as decision-making goes!

Jenna, would you please come decorate my home for fall!!!! Both your homes look fall perfect and just gorgeous. Love the pumpkins in the arrangements in B’ham and the colors for the beach house. Great look on the mantle with your painting, love it. Yes, my entry looks just like yours with all the dead leaves. As soon as we clean it up a breeze will cover the walkway again! If only they were fall colors I wouldn’t complain…………

Lookin’ good for fall, Jenna! LOL Two great minds think alike because I love the summer burst, too, and I just ordered a bunch of that stuff because it matches my kitchen…..but I probably should have ordered some witchy stuff but I didn’t.
I really need to get to Colliers or somewhere and plant the empty large black container on my porch. UGH my front porch is an empty eyesore.
