Tablescapes, Witches Wicked Candlelight Supper

Welcome my pretties, come in, come in!
You are just in time for the wicked fun to begin!
There are plenty of seats
And wicked good treats
We’ll toast to all things spider
With a glass of poison cider!
No time for jitters, not everything’s scary…
I’m the good witch, just like a wish granting fairy 👑
But beware of Zelda, don’t sit in her chair
If you take her seat, she might cut off your feet!!
And she’ll leave them there in the room, right next to her broom!
Wicked coffee and tea
Laced with the wings of 10 fleas
and just in case, we’ve saved you a place!
Warty fingers, ghost chips and twisted old toes
With a side of squid ink pasta and a blood red rose
Witch hat candles burn ghostly bright
All through the creepy and very dark night
The star of this dinner is the Giant Chocolate Spider Cake
He’s locked under a cloche so he can’t escape
When it’s time to eat him, you will want to partake!
Pumpkins and chocolate, candles and wine
I can’t think of an evening more positively divine!

So awesome!!!
What a fun and spooky table!! Is that striped pasta bows in your glasses? LOVE! Your poem was fabulous!! So many cute ideas here – thx!!
Loads of fun and very beautiful! I loved every detail. (The Mackenzie C. is just perfection for Halloween and the cake looks to die for!) Glorious in every way!
OH cute, cute!! What a darling poem to illustrate your charming table. The candles burning behind the witches is so spooky!
So many enchanting details, I don’t know where to start. But how you filled your three tier MC server is just creepy fun! The spider cake and the squid ink pasta are genius. A true Halloween delight! I have been loving this hop!
Thanks Ann, so glad you could join in the fun!!
Lovely tablescape…great design.
Jenna, oh my the chocolate spider cake looks so spooky but delicious I am sure…so creative! The squid ink pasta and red rose are so unique…only you would have thought of that! The MC 3-tier stand with its creepy confections is perfect. Your table is so fun and I know your grands will love it!
Hi! This is a test 🙂
Jenna, I’m firing up the broom and flying over to have a seat at your Wicked Candlelight Supper! The frightening buffet of “finger” food makes me cackle with glee, especially displayed on your Courtly Check server, along with the poison cider and spider cake! Love the spooky glow and ambiance from the candles and witch trio )
Absolutely amazing! Love all the details! Did you paint the glasses?
thanks Michele, and yes I did paint the glasses

thank you!
Lovely tablescape and such creativity. More details on the glasses please.
hi Kari, I used to paint glassware for gift shops and still do occasionally, Halloween glasses were always a best seller!
Jenna, this is such a perfect Halloween table with all the fun decorations. I know your grands will have so much fun and that is your treat! Spiders are scary to me but gotta love your guy!!!
omg, Emily, next time you’re at TJ’s get a chocolate cake, it’s literally death by chocolate!!
Absolute fun!!! The witch hat candles are really unique! I’ve not seen them anywhere!
Thanks A, I found them at a local gift shop last year, love them!
This is fantastically imagined and executed, Jenna! The moody candlelight of the tablescape is killer, but that FOOD…..oh yea, that’s the star. That cake and those warty fingers….oh dear. And all your pillows….great work!
Thank you Rita, the warty fingers are praline pecans, quite tasty! 🙂
Hi Jenna, such wicked witchy fun. Loving the finger food. Of course I am really drooling over your MC tiered stand. You added so many fun details. The candles and lighting look amazing. This has been a blast.
Jenna, you have made me smile today! This is too cute! That spider cake is adorable! Your table is perfect for a Halloween party. It has been so much fun blog hopping with you! Happy fall!!!
Great display,so colorful.
Marilyn
What a great Halloween display. Everything is lovely. great job. Thank you for sharing.

An artist’s table is something extraordinary, detailed and layered, so much to savor. The MC Courtly Check and Dancing witches cast a spell. And the spider is a showstopper (looks delicious, too). Poison cider is essential! Squid ink pasta, too. I love the mix of fun, humor, poetry, whimsy, and beauty. So enjoyed playing with you this week!
The use of pumpkin s on your tablescape is fabulous! Great job!
This looks fabulous. I love the trio of witches centrepiece.
Lovin’ the witch silhouettes centerpiece! Very fun:@)
This table is so much fun and I could dive face first into that spider cake, it’s very original. I’d also like to know if you painted the glasses. Love it all Jenna!
Thanks Sandra, and yes I painted the glasses…
I so enjoyed your rhyme while taking in all the fantastic elements on your table! Love the spider cake and wish I could stop by for a piece – I’d take my chances on being poisoned! Your table runner makes a terrific backdrop to all your centerpiece items – the 3 witches are wonderful! Well done!
What fun – both spooky and nice.
Of course, I always love your poems, Jenna! It’s such fun to see what words you come up with that accompany each fabulous picture. I’d love to be a guest, but I promise that I won’t sit in Zelda’s chair!! Your table is wonderful and those painted goblets that you’ve done, are the best. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
“I’m the good witch”. LOL!

thank you! So glad you stopped by Amber
What a bewitching table! Halloween has gotten to be quite the holiday when it comes to fun things with which to create.. Your spidery thing is downright spooky but if it’s chocolate it’s got to be good.
I am loving this table. The cake is unlike anything I have ever seen. I am truly inspired now to try and create my own. Thanks Jenna! (sharing this tomorrow on my FB page) Have a good day!
